Weak discontinuity waves in n-type semiconductors with defects of dislocation
In this paper a Boillat's methodology is applied to investigate discontinuity waves of a system of quasi-linear hyperbolic partial differential equations (PDEs), describing the interactions between the electronic and dislocation fields in extrinsic ...

Influence of Hysteresis on Magnetocaloric Performance at Cryogenic Temperatures: A Tb3Ni Case Study
The existence of an inverse magnetocaloric effect in metamagnetic materials at cryogenic temperatures is investigated using multiple methods. Contrary to predictions from magnetization data, neither specific heat nor pulsed‐field measurements show such a cooling effect, instead indicating irreversible heating.

Heat equation for porous nanostructures filled by a fluid flow
In a previous paper, in the framework of extended irreversible thermodynamics with internal variables, a model for nanostructures with thin porous channels filled by a fluid flow was developed.

Two-dimensional fluids and their holographic duals
We describe the dynamics of two-dimensional relativistic and Carrollian fluids. These are mapped holographically to three-dimensional locally anti-de Sitter and locally Minkowski spacetimes, respectively.

Selective Membrane for Non‐Aqueous Electrochemical Flow Cells
Sulfonated fixed charge functionalization is increased to improve the conductivity of a cation exchange membrane in a non‐aqueous electrochemical cell. Based on ex situ analyses, the material achieved the highest selectivity for this type of system to date.

Designing stable Ru nanoparticle catalyst remains a critical challenge in electrochemical applications. Here, a strategy is presented to stabilize Ru catalysts by leveraging Ce‐doped ZrO2 supports (ZrCeO2‐x), which enhance catalyst durability and activity through electronic metal‐support interactions and stabilized oxygen vacancies.

Boundary conditions and extended constitutive relations for spin-flow coupling in dipolar fluids
Boundary conditions are formulated, within the framework of irreversible thermodynamics, for the velocity, the angular velocity and the dipole vector parallel to the average electric dipole moment of a streaming dipolar fluid.

Chemo‐Mechanical Coupling in Hydrogels: Dynamics in the Diffusion‐Limited Regime
A time‐dependent continuum model is developed to capture the transient swelling dynamics of chemo‐mechanical hydrogels. By coupling chemical reactions, solvent transport, and polymer deformation, volume phase transitions, reaction kinetics, and transient mechanical instabilities are analyzed.

This study demonstrates that pulsed potential electrolysis significantly improves CO2 reduction performance on copper‐nitrogen doped carbon electrodes. The formation of cationic copper sites and metallic clusters as a function of applied intermittent potential leads to notable selectivity changes compared to potentiostatic reduction.
