Geodetic first order data assimilation using an extended Kalman filtering technique
The poor horizontal reference frame in Nigeria lacks the integrity of a twenty-first century geodetic frame because the traditional techniques, which were used in developing them had limited accuracy and are now obsolete.

Gaussian Filtering for Simultaneously Occurring Delayed and Missing Measurements
Approximate filtering algorithms in nonlinear systems assume Gaussian prior and predictive density and remain popular due to ease of implementation as well as acceptable performance. However, these algorithms are restricted by two major assumptions: they

Flexible Dielectric Acoustic Resonator Patch for Tissue Regeneration
A flexible dielectric acoustic resonator patch enables MHz‐range ultrasound generation through resonance amplification without using piezoelectric materials. Conformal integration on a curved substrate allows efficient acoustic delivery to tissue‐mimicking environments.

Smoothing Hazard Functions and Time-Varying Effects in Discrete Duration and Competing Risks Models [PDF]
State space or dynamic approaches to discrete or grouped duration data with competing risks or multiple terminating events allow simultaneous modelling and smooth estimation of hazard functions and time-varying effects in a flexible way. Full Bayesian or

Flexible IMU Sensor Array For 3D Colonoscope Shape Reconstruction and AI‐Based Loop Detection
We propose a sensing platform for 3D visualization of the colonoscope combined with artificial intelligence (AI)‐based loop detection. The system consists of an array of 15 inertial measurement units (IMUs) mounted on a flexible printed circuit board that can be retrofitted into the instrument channel of conventional colonoscopes.
