A novel MPTC sensorless control strategy for ANFTSMC with ESO to control PMSM

open access: yesJournal of Measurement Science and Instrumentation, 2021
Aiming at the problem that the traditional control strategy of permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM)for electric vehicles has low control performance,a novel adaptive non-singular fast terminal sliding mode control(ANFTSMC)model predictive torque ...

A Speed Tracking Method for Autonomous Driving via ADRC with Extended State Observer

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2019
This paper proposes the extended state observer (ESO)-based active disturbance rejection control (ADRC) for the speed tracking of an autonomous vehicle.

GaBoDS: The Garching-Bonn Deep Survey -- I. Anatomy of galaxy clusters in the background of NGC 300

open access: yes, 2003
The Garching-Bonn Deep Survey (GaBoDS) is a virtual 12 square degree cosmic shear and cluster lensing survey, conducted with the WFI@2.2m MPG/ESO telescope at La Silla. It consists of shallow, medium and deep random fields taken in R-band in subarcsecond

Multiple ETS family transcription factors bind mutant p53 via distinct interaction regions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Mutant p53 gain‐of‐function is thought to be mediated by interaction with other transcription factors. We identify multiple ETS transcription factors that can bind mutant p53 and found that this interaction can be promoted by a PXXPP motif. ETS proteins that strongly bound mutant p53 were upregulated in ovarian cancer compared to ETS proteins that ...

The newfound relationship between extrachromosomal DNAs and excised signal circles

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Extrachromosomal DNAs (ecDNAs) contribute to the progression of many human cancers. In addition, circular DNA by‐products of V(D)J recombination, excised signal circles (ESCs), have roles in cancer progression but have largely been overlooked. In this Review, we explore the roles of ecDNAs and ESCs in cancer development, and highlight why these ...

Research on Active Disturbance Rejection-Based Control Technology for Agricultural Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors

open access: yesAgriculture
The electrification of agricultural machinery has become an important trend. Active Disturbance Rejection Control (ADRC) shows considerable potential in agricultural motor control due to its low model dependence and strong anti-disturbance capability ...

Vibration Control of a Semiactive Vehicle Suspension System Based on Extended State Observer Techniques

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2014
A feedback control method based on an extended state observer (ESO) method is implemented to vibration reduction in a typical semiactive suspension (SAS) system using a magnetorheological (MR) damper as actuator.

An upstream open reading frame regulates expression of the mitochondrial protein Slm35 and mitophagy flux

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This study reveals how the mitochondrial protein Slm35 is regulated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The authors identify stress‐responsive DNA elements and two upstream open reading frames (uORFs) in the 5′ untranslated region of SLM35. One uORF restricts translation, and its mutation increases Slm35 protein levels and mitophagy.

The z-structure of disk galaxies towards the galaxy planes [PDF]

open access: yes, 1997
We present a detailed study of a statistically complete sample of highly inclined disk galaxies in the near-infrared K' band. Since the K'-band light is relatively insensitive to contamination by galactic dust, we have been able to follow the vertical ...
