Global Tensor‐Matter Transitions in F‐Theory [PDF]
We use F‐theory to study gauge algebra preserving transitions of 6d supergravity theories that are connected by superconformal points. While the vector multiplets remain unchanged, the hyper‐ and tensor multiplet sectors are modified.

The global gauge group structure of F-theory compactification with U(1)s [PDF]
We show that F-theory compactifications with abelian gauge factors generally exhibit a non-trivial global gauge group structure. The geometric origin of this structure lies with the Shioda map of the Mordell-Weil generators.

Perturbative F-theory 10-brane and M-theory 5-brane
The exceptional symmetry is realized perturbatively in F-theory which is the manifest U-duality theory. The SO(5) U-duality symmetry acts on both the 16 space-time coordinates and the 10 worldvolume coordinates.

Heterotic/Heterotic and Heterotic/F-theory Duality [PDF]
We consider heterotic target space dual (0,2) GLSMs on elliptically fibered Calabi-Yau manifolds. In this context, each half of the "dual" heterotic theories must in turn have an F-theory dual. Moreover, the apparent relationship between two heterotic compactifications seen in (0,2) heterotic target space dual pairs should, in principle, induce some ...

G 4 flux, algebraic cycles and complex structure moduli stabilization
We construct G 4 fluxes that stabilize all of the 426 complex structure moduli of the sextic Calabi-Yau fourfold at the Fermat point. Studying flux stabilization usually requires solving Picard-Fuchs equations, which becomes unfeasible for models with ...

Stringy Cosmic Strings and Compactifications of F-theory [PDF]
We construct stringy cosmic string solutions corresponding to compactifications of F-theory on several elliptic Calabi-Yau manifolds by solving the equations of motion of low energy effective action of ten dimensional type IIB superstring theory. Existence of such solutions supports the compactifications of F-theory.

Algorithmic universality in F-theory compactifications [PDF]
We study universality of geometric gauge sectors in the string landscape in the context of F-theory compactifications. A finite time construction algorithm is presented for $\frac43 \times 2.96 \times 10^{755}$ F-theory geometries that are connected by a

Gauge backgrounds and zero-mode counting in F-theory [PDF]
A bstractComputing the exact spectrum of charged massless matter is a crucial step towards understanding the effective field theory describing F-theory vacua in four dimensions.

D3 branes in the vicinity of an E6, E7, or E8 stack of 7-branes in flat space are known to host at low energy a famous class of strongly-coupled N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 2 superconformal field theories featuring exceptional global symmetry. What if, instead,

F-Theory on Calabi-Yau Fourfolds [PDF]
We discuss some aspects of F-theory in four dimensions on elliptically fibered Calabi-Yau fourfolds which are Calabi-Yau threefold fibrations. A particularly simple class of such manifolds emerges for fourfolds in which the generic Calabi-Yau threefold fiber is itself an elliptic fibration and is K3 fibered.
