Global Tensor‐Matter Transitions in F‐Theory [PDF]
We use F‐theory to study gauge algebra preserving transitions of 6d supergravity theories that are connected by superconformal points. While the vector multiplets remain unchanged, the hyper‐ and tensor multiplet sectors are modified.

Gauge backgrounds and zero-mode counting in F-theory [PDF]
A bstractComputing the exact spectrum of charged massless matter is a crucial step towards understanding the effective field theory describing F-theory vacua in four dimensions.

High U(1) charges in type IIB models and their F-theory lift [PDF]
A bstractWe construct models with U(1) gauge group and matter with charges up to 6, in the context of type IIB compactifications. We show explicitly that models with charges up to 4 can be derived from corresponding models in F-theory by applying the Sen

F-theory family unification [PDF]
We propose a new geometric mechanism for naturally realizing unparallel three families of flavors in string theory, using the framework of F-theory. We consider a set of coalesced local 7-branes of a particular Kodaira singularity type and allow some of the branes to bend and separate from the rest, so that they meet only at an intersection point. Such

Large U(1) charges in F-theory [PDF]
A bstractWe show that massless fields with large abelian charges (up to at least q = 21) can be constructed in 6D F-theory models with a U(1) gauge group. To show this, we explicitly construct F-theory Weierstrass models with nonabelian gauge groups that

F-theory with quantized fluxes [PDF]
We present evidence that the CHL string in eight dimensions is dual to F-theory compactified on an elliptic K3 with a $ _{0}(2)$ monodromy group. The monodromy group $ _{0}(2)$ allows one to turn on the flux of an antisymmetric two form along the base.

Algebraic cycles and local anomalies in F-theory [PDF]
We introduce a set of identities in the cohomology ring of elliptic fibrations which are equivalent to the cancellation of gauge and mixed gauge-gravitational anomalies in F-theory compactifications to four and six dimensions.

Perturbative F-theory 10-brane and M-theory 5-brane
The exceptional symmetry is realized perturbatively in F-theory which is the manifest U-duality theory. The SO(5) U-duality symmetry acts on both the 16 space-time coordinates and the 10 worldvolume coordinates.

Tate’s algorithm and F-theory [PDF]
The "Tate forms" for elliptically fibered Calabi-Yau manifolds are reconsidered in order to determine their general validity. We point out that there were some implicit assumptions made in the original derivation of these "Tate forms" from the Tate algorithm.
