The use of F-transform for image fusion algorithms
2010 International Conference of Soft Computing and Pattern Recognition, 2010We show that on the basis of F-transform, the problem of reconstruction of corrupted images can be solved. The proposed technique is called image fusion. A simple linear algorithm of image fusion, based on F-transform, is proposed and justified. A measure of degradation of an image is proposed as well.

Fuzzification via F-transform [PDF]
In this paper we show how a fuzzification process can benefit of the F-transform and possibility distributions.

Time series analysis by discrete F-transform
International Conference on Fuzzy Systems, 2010The aim of this contribution is to show that the theory of F-transform can be successfully used in analysis and forecasting of time series. We propose relaxed constraints on a fuzzy partition as well as a matrix form of the F-transform for fast computation.

Modified F-transform Based on B-splines
2018The aim of this paper is to improve the F-transform technique based on B-splines. A modification of the F-transform of higher degree with respect to fuzzy partitions based on B-splines is done to extend the good approximation properties from the interval where the Ruspini condition is fulfilled to the whole interval under consideration.

Discrete multivariate F-transform of higher degree
2015 IEEE International Conference on Fuzzy Systems (FUZZ-IEEE), 2015In this paper, we reformulate the multivariate fuzzy transform (Fm-transform) of higher degree proposed originally for an approximation of continuous functions to the discrete case. We introduce the Fm-transform components as multivariate polynomials using the matrix algebra, the inverse Fm-transform is established to obtain a continuous function.

Convolutional Neural Networks with the F-transform Kernels
2017We propose a new convolutional neural network – the FTNet and explain its theoretical background referring to the theory of a higher degree F-transform. The FTNet is parametrized by kernel sizes, on/off activation of weights learning, the choice of strides or pooling, etc. It is trained on the database MNIST and tested on handwritten inputs.

F-transform with parametric generalized fuzzy partitions
Fuzzy Sets and Systems, 2011The fuzzy transform was introduced by \textit{I. Perfilieva} [Fuzzy Sets Syst. 157, No. 8, 993--1023 (2006; Zbl 1092.41022)] and having some interesting properties that allow its use in the curve fitting and smoothing data. In the present study the author suggests an extension of the fuzzy transform in order to control and improve the smoothing effect.

Any F-Transform Is Defined by a Powerset Theory
2019Relationships between powerset theories and F-transforms are investigated. Both these methods represent strong tools in fuzzy sets theory and applications. Although both methods deal with similar objects, both these methods use different tools and, so far, the relationship between the two methods has not been investigated.

Thermodynamical aspect of G-F transformations of actin
Biochimica et Biophysica Acta (BBA) - Bioenergetics, 1969Abstract 1. Thermodynamic analyses were made concerning the polymerization of G-actin to F-actin. The time courses of polymerization were very similar over a wide range of solvent conditions; polymerization curves obtained under varied conditions could be superposed by translation parallel to the logarithmic time axis. 2. The activation enthalpy for
