Enhanced Entanglement in Hybrid Cavity Mediated by a Two-way Coupled Quantum Dot
We investigate theoretically the entanglement in a hybrid Fabry-Perot cavity system. A membrane in the cavity acts as a mechanical resonator, and a two-level quantum dot is coupled to both the cavity mode and the mechanical resonator.

Measuring the speed of light using beating longitudinal modes in an open-cavity HeNe laser
We describe an undergraduate laboratory that combines an accurate measurement of the speed of light, a fundamental investigation of a basic laser system, and a nontrivial use of statistical analysis.

Multi‐Mode Deep Strong Coupling in a Multi Quantum Well Fabry–Perot Cavity
Multi‐mode deep‐strong coupling is demonstrated in a 166‐well heterostructure that acts as a Fabry–Perot cavity. Even cavity modes couple strongly to the cyclotron resonance, producing large vacuum Rabi splittings and a rich polaritonic spectrum captured by a full Hopfield model.

Micromachined Double‐Membrane Mechanically Tunable Metamaterial for Thermal Infrared Filtering
Herein, a mechanically tunable double‐layer plasmonic metamaterial leveraging the extraordinary optical transmission effect observed in subwavelength arrays of openings within thin metal layers is presented. The concept is experimentally validated by integrating the proposed metamaterial structure into an electrostatic parallel‐plate actuator to create

High Gain Slot Array with Fabry-Perot Cavity Feeding Circuit
A new approach for designing slot arrays using a Fabry-Perot cavity for the feeding circuit is presented. The proposed array has simpler and smaller feeding circuit compared to conventional feeding networks that have multiple dividers or combiners.

Generation of a flat-top laser beam for gravitational wave detectors by means of a nonspherical Fabry-Perot resonator [PDF]
We have tested a new kind of Fabry-Perot long-baseline optical resonator proposed to reduce the thermal noise sensitivity of gravitational wave interferometric detectors--the "mesa beam" cavity--whose flat top beam shape is achieved by means of an ...

Energy‐Resolved Femtosecond Dynamics of Plasmon‐Induced Hole Injection at Au/GaN Heterointerfaces
We reveal the spectral signature of ultrafast nonthermal hot‐hole transfer at plasmonic heterointerfaces, which reshapes hot‐carrier relaxation dynamics and significantly enhances hydrogen evolution, providing a mechanistic basis for optimizing hot‐carrier utilization in photocatalysis.
