D-lactate as a novel somnogenic factor?
Zhurnal nevrologii i psikhiatrii im. S.S. Korsakova, 2020To evaluate an influence of intracerebral L-lactate concentration on sleep-wake cycle.Twenty adult male white rats preliminary implanted (under general anesthesia) with the electrodes for neocortical EEG and a single cannula to a lateral ventricle were used as subjects.

2-D Wilson spectral factorization
IEEE Transactions on Acoustics, Speech, and Signal Processing, 1988G. Wilson's method of spectral factorization (1969) is considered for generalization to the two-dimensional (2-D) case. For practical implementation, finite-order approximants to the 2-D spectral factors of infinite order are obtained. Although stability or convergence cannot be guaranteed in general, justifications are given for the success of the ...

Total Synthesis of A54145 Factor D
The Journal of Organic Chemistry, 2019An efficient total synthesis of A54145 factor D (A5D), a member of the A54145 family of cyclic lipodepsipeptide antibiotics, is reported. The peptide was constructed by attaching the peptide to the 2'-chlorotrityl polystyrene resin via Sar5 and developing conditions that avoided diketopiperazine formation upon subsequent elaboration using 9 ...

On the approximate factorization of 2-D polynomials
IEEE Transactions on Acoustics, Speech, and Signal Processing, 1987A method is presented for the approximate factorization of unfactorable bivariate polynomials. An efficient iterative algorithm is developed to minimize an appropriate criterion. The basic ideas can be easily extended to the case of polynomials in more than two independent variables. An example is presented to illustrate the utility of the method.

On Lifting Factorization for 2-D LPPRFB
2006 International Conference on Image Processing, 2006For multidimensional system, since the factorization theory is not well developed and multivariate system is generally much complex than univariate system, they are much less mature than 1D filter banks. In this paper, a class of 2-D 2-channel linear phase perfect reconstruction filter banks is investigated.

D-factor: Modulation of expression in fibroblasts
Leukemia Research, 1991Differentiation inducing factor (D-factor) is a recently described protein. The gene has been cloned, but little is known concerning regulation of expression of the gene. Our study showed that fibroblasts from a variety of tissues (lung, bone marrow, gingiva, foreskin) constitutively expressed D-factor RNA.

Matrix factorizations and D‐branes on K3
Fortschritte der Physik, 2007AbstractWe review the description of D‐branes in Landau Ginzburg models using Matrix Factorizations. A number of simple examples are discussed, the main example being Matrix factorizations for the K3 given by the quartic hypersurface in P3. We discuss deformations of matrix factorizations and their obstructions in simple cases. Based on Brunner et al.,

Synthesis of factor D by normal human hepatocytes
Immunopharmacology, 2000Background: Unlike most complement proteins, complement factor D is believed to be synthesized not by the liver but exclusively by adipose tissue. Method: Culture supernatants obtained from primary culture of normal human hepatocytes were assayed for factor D by ELISA and analyzed by Western blotting.
