{The faithful triangular representations of Kaloujnine $p$-groups over a $p$-element field

open access: yesKarpatsʹkì Matematičnì Publìkacìï, 2011
The faithful triangular representations of finite Kaloujnine$p$-groups is studied. Images of generators of those groups aredescribed. Infinite-dimensional representation of the direct limitof Kaloujnine $p$-groups is regarded.

Constructing Faithful Matrix Representations of Lie Algebras [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
By Ado's theorem every nite dimensional Lie algebra over a field of characteristic zero has a faithful finite dimensional representation. We consider the algorithmic problem of constructing such a representation for Lie algebras given by a ...

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Extended RDF: Computability and Complexity Issues [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
ERDF stable model semantics is a recently proposed semantics for ERDF ontologies and a faithful extension of RDFS semantics on RDF graphs. In this paper, we elaborate on the computability and complexity issues of the ERDF stable model semantics. Based

Faithful to the Process. Representation Strategies for the Participatory Design

open access: yesArchitecture Image Studies, 2020
Public participation in architecture implies a change to the whole traditional range of subjects and objects and opens to a new process whose results are not foreseen from the designer. Architectural drawing is asked to change as well; the paper questions representation languages and techniques, investigating which ones can be inclusive so that the ...

COMP–PMEPA1 axis promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in breast cancer cells

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study reveals that cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in breast cancer. We identify PMEPA1 (protein TMEPAI) as a novel COMP‐binding partner that mediates EMT via binding to the TSP domains of COMP, establishing the COMP–PMEPA1 axis as a key EMT driver in breast cancer.

EDNRB‐dependent endothelin signaling reduces proliferation and promotes proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition in gliomas

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

Engineered extracellular vesicles enriched with the miR‐214/199a cluster enhance the efficacy of chemotherapy in ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...

Au fil de Sirona… la déesse de Mediolanum/Mâlain

open access: yesArchéopages, 2016
In 2014, the realization of a diagnosis in Mâlain (Côte-d'Or) offered the opportunity to better discern the site of the western sanctuary of Mediolanum, ancient antique agglomeration of the city of Lingons.
