Increased synovial and entheseal fibroblast activation detected by 68Ga-FAPI-PET/CT is associated with the development of psoriatic arthritis in psoriasis patients with arthralgia

open access: yesRMD Open
Objectives To assess the clinical and imaging characteristics associated with fibroblast activation detected by 68Gallium-labelled fibroblast activation protein inhibitor positron emission tomography/CT (68Ga-FAPI-PET/CT) in patients with psoriasis and ...

Value of [68Ga]Ga‐FAPI‐04 PET imaging in acute coronary syndrome complicated by suspected gastrointestinal malignancies

open access: yesView, 2023
Early diagnosis of gastrointestinal malignancies in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) is often delayed. The present study aims to demonstrate the value of [68Ga]Ga‐FAPI‐04 PET imaging in ACS with suspected gastrointestinal malignancies.

Prospective comparison of 68Ga-FAPI-04 and 18F-FDG PET/CT for tumor staging in nasopharyngeal carcinoma

open access: yesFrontiers in Oncology, 2022
PurposeTo explore the difference in the effectiveness of gallium-68 fibroblast activation protein inhibitor (68Ga-FAPI-04) PET/CT and fluorine-18 fluorodeoxyglucose (18F-FDG) PET/CT for the initial staging of patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC ...

Cardiovascular toxicity from immune checkpoint inhibitor therapy: an inflammatory continuum

open access: yesBritish Journal of Pharmacology, EarlyView.
Immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI) therapy has markedly improved outcomes in advanced malignancies but has also revealed a distinct spectrum of cardiovascular immune‐related adverse events. Myocarditis represents the most severe manifestation, while non‐inflammatory left ventricular dysfunction and vascular inflammation have emerged as additional ...

In Situ Self‐Assembled Molecular Fortifying Agent for Enhanced Retention and Therapeutic Efficacy of Radiopharmaceuticals

open access: yesAggregate, Volume 7, Issue 10, October 2026.
A molecular‐fortifying agent strategy based on in situ self‐assembly is developed to prolong tumor retention of radioligands. After tumor‐targeting, FAP‐α cleavage triggers nanofiber formation, presenting azide anchors for bioorthogonal capture of pre‐accumulated radioligands.

Radiosynthesis and in-vitro identification of a molecular probe 131I-FAPI targeting cancer-associated fibroblasts

open access: yesFrontiers in Oncology
PurposeFibroblast activation protein (FAP) is highly expressed in the mesenchyme of most malignant epithelial tumors, while its expression is low in normal tissues. FAP inhibitors (FAPIs) bind specifically to FAP and are used for tumor-targeted diagnosis

Artificial Intelligence in Gastric Cancer: Diagnostic, Prognostic, and Predictive Developments, Evidence Maturity, and Translational Challenges

open access: yesCancer Reports, Volume 9, Issue 10, October 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Gastric cancer (GC) remains a major global health burden characterized by substantial heterogeneity in diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment response. Artificial intelligence (AI), including machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL), has been increasingly investigated for the analysis of endoscopic images, radiological scans, whole‐

Localization of Pyelonephritis by 68Ga-FAPI PET CT.

open access: yesAsia Oceania journal of nuclear medicine & biology, 2023
Fibroblast activation protein inhibitor (FAPI) is a quinoline-based membrane-bound glycoprotein enzyme that is not usually expressed in normal adult tissues, except for the myometrium and sometimes the pancreas. Its expression increases in inflammation and cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAF). As FAPI is a new molecule with a promising future, presented

Contemporary Concise Review 2025: Interstitial Lung Disease

open access: yesRespirology, Volume 31, Issue 10, Page 974-982, October 2026.
ABSTRACT Multidisciplinary discussion remains the cornerstone of ILD diagnosis and management, with recent advances further strengthening the integration of clinical, radiological, pathological, and molecular information. Updated ILD nomenclature and classification better align disease terminology with underlying morphology and pathobiology.
