Pre‐Regenerative Endothelial Cells Empowered by Antler Blood Exosomes Orchestrate Peripheral Nerve Repair

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The pre‐regenerative vascular niche (PVN) is essential for nerve repair, yet its endothelial blueprint remains unclear. We identified angiogenic ECs (AECs) as the dominant pre‐regenerative subset and found that antler blood–derived exosomes (AB‐EXO) promote repair via IMP3.

Flexoelectricity in Photoconversion: Fundamentals, Materials, and Outlooks

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Mechanical bending of a flexible cantilever induces a strain gradient in the photoactive material. The resulting flexoelectric field couples with photovoltaic and photoconductive effects, modulating charge generation, separation, and collection. A comparative analysis of oxide perovskites, halide perovskites, and two‐dimensional materials is presented,

Bound Water as a Reinforcing Element for Ultra‐Strong Polyacrylamide

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Rather than acting as a conventional plasticizer, bound water serves as a reinforcing element in polyacrylamide by constructing strong PAM–water–PAM hydrogen‐bond networks. This water‐mediated architecture delivers ultra‐high mechanical strength and exceptional flame resistance, redefining the role of water in polymer reinforcement.

Design of a cone target for fast ignition

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2013
We propose a new type of target for the fast ignition of inertial confinement fusion. Pre-formed plasma inside a cone target can significantly reduce the energy coupling efficiency from the ultra-high intense short-pulse laser to the imploded core plasma.

Black Hole Quencher‐Enhanced Plasmonic Photothermal Conversion

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Researchers have developed a universal method to boost plasmonic photothermal conversion by attaching black hole quencher (BHQ) molecules to matched metal nanostructures. This hybrid approach increases efficiency by roughly threefold, reaching up to 69.1% in the near‐infrared‐II window.

Fabrication of high-concentration Cu-doped deuterated targets for fast ignition experiments

open access: yesNuclear Fusion, 2022
In high-energy-density physics, including inertial fusion energy using high-power lasers, doping tracer atoms and deuteration of target materials play an important role in diagnosis.

Assessment of Potential for Ion-Driven Fast Ignition [PDF]

open access: yesFusion Science and Technology, 2006
Critical issues and ion beam requirements are explored for fast ignition using ion beams to provide fuel compression using indirect drive and to provide separate short-pulse ignition heating using direct drive. Several ion species with different hohlraum geometries are considered for both accelerator-produced and laser-produced ion ignition beams.
