Vestibular Patient Journey: Insights From Vestibular Disorders Association (VeDA) Registry
ABSTRACT Objective Vestibular symptoms impose a high burden of disability. Understanding real‐world diagnostic and treatment pathways can identify care gaps and guide interventions. We aimed to characterize symptom profiles, diagnostic trends, provider involvement, and treatment patterns in vestibular disorders.

PATH PLANNING OF TRACTOR-TRAILER ROBOT BY FAST MARCHING METHODE (FMM) [PDF]
This paper deals with motion planning of Tractor-trailer robots, which are car-like robot dragging several trailers with no driving force. Each trailer has a nonholonomic kinematic constraint which increases the complexity of the path planning problem ...

Topological Data Structure: The Fast Marching Example
International audienceThis article lies in the field of front propagation algorithms on a surface represented by triangle meshes. An implementation of the fast marching algorithm using a topological structure, the generalized maps or gmaps, as the data ...

ABSTRACT Objective Neurochemical levels measured by brain MR spectroscopy (MRS) have been proposed as endpoints for clinical trials in early‐stage spinocerebellar ataxia (SCA) trials. We tested their trial‐readiness by quantifying neurochemicals in three affected brain regions in early‐stage cohorts of SCA2 and SCA3, examining their reproducibility in ...

From Shear to Sound: Mechanics–Acoustics Mapping of TPMS Lattices
Triply periodic minimal surface (TPMS) lattices are mapped across mechanical and acoustic performance, revealing that descriptors validated in compression fail under shear. First‐time comparison with trusses included. A transition from porous to resonance‐driven absorption emerges at 25% density.

An Accelerated Dual Fast Marching Tree Applied to Emergency Geometric Trajectory Generation
This paper addresses the generation of aircraft emergency trajectories with obstacle avoidance. After presenting in detail the fast marching tree algorithm, in this paper we propose an improvement of its performance.

Laser‐Induced Graphene from Waste Almond Shells
Almond shells, an abundant agricultural by‐product, are repurposed to create a fully bioderived almond shell/chitosan composite (ASC) degradable in soil. ASC is converted into laser‐induced graphene (LIG) by laser scribing and proposed as a substrate for transient electronics.

Fast marching methods for the continuous traveling salesman problem [PDF]
We consider a problem in which we are given a domain, a cost function which depends on position at each point in the domain, and a subset of points (“cities”) in the domain. The goal is to determine the cheapest closed path that visits each city in the domain once.

Microseismic Event Location by Considering the Influence of the Empty Area in an Excavated Tunnel
The velocity model is a key factor that affects the accuracy of microseismic event location around tunnels. In this paper, we consider the effect of the empty area on the microseismic event location and present a 3D heterogeneous velocity model for ...

GBGVD: Growth-based geodesic Voronoi diagrams
Given a set of generators, the geodesic Voronoi diagram (GVD) defines how the base surface is decomposed into separate regions such that each generator dominates a region in terms of geodesic distance to the generators.
