Milk and milk fat production have both been improved by crossing good Holstein or Red Dane bulls with Guernsey cows ( 1). The mature equivalent production ( M. E. ) for 365 days, 3 times milking of Holstein-Guernsey crosses is reported at 17,186 pounds

Gravitons could permeate extra space dimensions inaccessible to all other particles, which would be confined to ``branes''. We point out that these branes could be ``fat'' and have a non-vanishing width in the dimensions reserved for gravitons.

In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Fat blends on the base of structural triglycerides
Fat blends for manufacture of trans isomer-free emulsified fats are prepared by blending of 20-30% of structured fat with vegetable oil. Structured fats on the base of trisaturated triglycerides are produced by basic or enzymatic catalyzed ...

The Correlation Between Body Fat Percentage and Peak Expiratory Flow in Children Aged 10-12 Years at SD Negeri 8 Dauh Puri [PDF]
Background: The accumulation of fat decreases lung function. Peak expiratory flow is an indicator for assessing pulmonary function and can be used to identify the narrowing or obstruction of the airway. This study aimed to examine the correlation between

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

Are endocannabinoid type 1 receptor gene (CNR1) polymorphisms associated with obesity and metabolic syndrome in postmenopausal Polish women? [PDF]
Objective: The aim of this study was to determine whether genetic variation at the cannabinoid receptor-1 (CNR1) locus could have an effect on adiposity, fat distribution and obesity-related metabolic disorders in Polish postmenopausal women.Design and ...

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.
