Molecular Oncology, EarlyView.Elevated expression of transcriptional regulator inhibitor of DNA binding 1 (ID1) promoted cancer cell‐mediated vasculogenic mimicry (VM) through regulation of pro‐angiogenic and pro‐cancerous genes (e.g. VE‐cadherin (CDH5), TIE2, MMP9, DKK1). Higher ID1 expression also increased metastases to the lung and the liver.

Genus Expansions of Hermitian One-Matrix Models: Fat Graphs vs. Thin Graphs [PDF]
arXiv, 2018 We consider two different genus expansions of the free energy functions of Hermitian one-matrix models, one using fat graphs, one using ordinary graphs (thin graphs). Some structural results are first proved for the thin version of genus expansion using renormalized coupling constants, and then applied to the fat version.

Large Sets in Boolean and Non-Boolean Groups and Topology [PDF]
arXiv, 2017 Right and left thick, syndetic, piecewise syndetic, and fat sets in groups are studied. The main concern is the interplay between such sets in Boolean groups. Natural topologies closely related to fat sets are also considered, which leads to interesting relations between fat sets and ultrafilters.
