A Fault Estimation Method Based on UIO Robust Residual Generators
This paper proposed a fault estimation method based on robust residual generators for a linear system. A system with additive actuator or component faults was considered in the case where the number of the independent faults was larger than that of the ...

Comparison of observer approaches for actuator fault estimation in semi-active suspension systems
International audienceIn this paper, the actuator fault estimation problem of semi-active suspension systems is considered. For instance, an oil leakage in the damper could cause a reduction of the damping force.

Fault detection using parameter estimation
AbstractThis paper presents a brief summary of fault‐detection methods using parameter estimation techniques. An overview of the fault‐detection system design methodology is first presented, followed by the principles of parameter‐estimation fault‐detection techniques.

Distributed fault estimation for linear systems with actuator faults
SummaryThis article investigates the problem of designing a distributed fault estimation observer (DFEO) for a given linear time invariant observed system with disturbances. The DFEO consists of a network of local fault estimation observers. The local observers at the network nodes are physically distributed and hence each of them has access to only ...

Effective therapeutic targeting of CTNNB1‐mutant hepatoblastoma with WNTinib
WNTinib, a Wnt/CTNNB1 inhibitor, was tested in hepatoblastoma (HB) experimental models. It delayed tumor growth and improved survival in CTNNB1‐mutant in vivo models. In organoids, WNTinib outperformed cisplatin and showed enhanced efficacy in combination therapy, supporting its potential as a targeted treatment for CTNNB1‐mutated HB.

Pharmacologic ascorbate (vitamin C) increases ROS, disrupts cellular metabolism, and induces DNA damage in CRPC cells. These effects sensitize tumors to PARP inhibition, producing synergistic growth suppression with olaparib in vitro and significantly delayed tumor progression in vivo. Pyruvate rescue confirms ROS‐dependent activity.

LDAcoop: Integrating non‐linear population dynamics into the analysis of clonogenic growth in vitro
Limiting dilution assays (LDAs) quantify clonogenic growth by seeding serial dilutions of cells and scoring wells for colony formation. The fraction of negative wells is plotted against cells seeded and analyzed using the non‐linear modeling of LDAcoop.

Peroxidasin enables melanoma immune escape by inhibiting natural killer cell cytotoxicity
Peroxidasin (PXDN) is secreted by melanoma cells and binds the NK cell receptor NKG2D, thereby suppressing NK cell activation and cytotoxicity. PXDN depletion restores NKG2D signaling and enables effective NK cell–mediated melanoma killing. These findings identify PXDN as a previously unrecognized immune evasion factor and a potential target to improve

A switched LPV observer for actuator fault estimation
International audienceIn this paper, an actuator fault estimation problem is tackled, based on the LPV approach. First, the actuator fault is modeled in the form of a multiplicative fault by using a constant coefficient representing the loss of ...
