The Real-time Implementation of Envelope Analysis for Bearing Fault Diagnosis based on Wireless Sensor Network

open access: yes, 2013
-Wireless sensor network (WSN) is gaining popularity in condition monitoring (CM) fields. However, enormous datasets obtained by data acquisition systems with high sampling rate cannot be transmitted effectively via a WSN due to its limited transmission ...

Analysing the significance of small conformational changes and low occupancy states in serial crystallographic data

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

FaultySheet detective: when smells meet fault localization

open access: yes, 2014
This paper presents a tool, dubbed FaultySheet Detective, for aiding in spreadsheet fault localization, which combines the detection of bad smells with a generic spectrum-based fault localization ...

Screening and epitope characterization of Nidogen‐2‐specific nanobodies

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Camel immunization and phage display were employed to generate high‐affinity VHH nanobodies against Nidogen‐2. After library construction, biopanning, ELISA screening, sequencing, and recombinant expression, selected nanobodies were purified and characterized, leading to the preliminary exploration of a nanobody‐based sandwich ELISA for specific ...

Centralized vs Distributed Fault Localization

open access: yes, 1995
In this paper we compare the performance of fault localization schemes for communication networks. Our model assumes a number of management centers, each responsible for a logically autonomous part of the whole telecommunication network.

YlmG1 is localized exclusively to the chloroplast envelope membrane and is involved in preprotein translocation in Arabidopsis thaliana

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Cytosolically synthesized chloroplast preproteins are translocated across the outer and inner envelope membranes through translocons called TOC and TIC, respectively. In green algae and plants, the TIC core is composed of essential membrane proteins, Tic12, Tic20, and Tic214.

Towards interactive fault localization using test information

open access: yes, 2006
Finding the location of a fault is a central task of debugging. Typically, a developer employs an interactive process for fault localization. To accelerate this task, several approaches have been proposed to automate fault localization.

Decreased cold‐sensing function of the transient receptor potential channel TRPM8 from tailed amphibians

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Despite frogs avoiding low temperatures, examination of four salamander species revealed that none avoided cold and all possessed cold tolerance. Functional analysis of TRPM8, a cold sensor, showed that all salamander TRPM8s had lost their cold sensitivity.

A dynamic fault-tolerant algorithm for target localization in wireless sensor networks

open access: yes, 2012
Aiming at robust localization in wireless sensor networks, this paper proposes a new dynamic localization algorithm. On the basis of the relationship between the signal attenuation model and the distance, we divide the received signal strength into ten ...
