Loss of proton‐sensing TDAG8 increases tumor progression in mouse models of colon cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Loss of the pH‐sensing receptor TDAG8 accelerates colorectal cancer progression in mice. Animals lacking TDAG8 expression had increased tumor growth, DNA damage, and recruitment of tumor‐associated immune cells, including macrophages, neutrophils, and monocytes.

Fault location method for distribution networks based on multi-head graph attention networks

open access: yesFrontiers in Energy Research
The precise fault localization holds significant importance in reducing power outage duration and frequency in power systems. The widespread application of synchrophasor measurement technology (PMU) has laid the foundation for achieving accurate fault ...

An Attention-Based Multidimensional Fault Information Sharing Framework for Bearing Fault Diagnosis

open access: yes
Deep learning has performed well in feature extraction and pattern recognition and has been widely studied in the field of fault diagnosis. However, in practical engineering applications, the lack of sample size limits the potential of deep learning in ...

PAK1 activation drives divergent resistance mechanisms to aromatase inhibition and tamoxifen in a luminal: A breast cancer model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Breast cancer remains a major cause of cancer death in women, frequently developing endocrine therapy resistance. This study demonstrates that upregulated p21‐activated kinase 1 (PAK1) activity drives resistance to tamoxifen and long‐term estrogen deprivation in ER+ breast cancer models.

Automated FRAP microscopy for high‐throughput analysis of protein dynamics in chromatin organization and transcription

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
RoboMic is an automated confocal microscopy pipeline for high‐throughput functional imaging in living cells. Demonstrated with fluorescence recovery after photobleaching (FRAP), it integrates AI‐driven nuclear segmentation, ROI selection, bleaching, and analysis.

Mechanical Fault Sound Source Localization Estimation in a Multisource Strong Reverberation Environment

open access: yesShock and Vibration
Aiming at the sound source localization of mechanical faults in a strong reverberation scenario with multiple sound sources, this paper investigates a mechanical fault source localization method using the U-net deep convolutional neural network.

Polarization‐resolved femtosecond Vis/IR spectroscopy tailored for resolving weak signals in biological samples using minimal sample volume

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Unique biological samples, such as site‐specific mutant proteins, are available only in limited quantities. Here, we present a polarization‐resolved transient infrared spectroscopy setup with referencing to improve signal‐to‐noise tailored towards tracing small signals. We provide an overview of characterizing the excitation conditions for polarization‐

Program structure aware fault localization

open access: yes, 2014
Software testing is always an effective method to show the presence of bugs in programs, while debugging is never an easy task to remove a bug from a program in software development.

Promiscuous stimulation of HSP70 ATPase activity by parasite‐derived J‐domains

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
The malaria parasite Plasmodium falciparum exports three highly homologous yet functionally divergent J‐domain proteins into human erythrocytes. Here, we show that J‐domains isolated from all three proteins effectively stimulate the ATPase activity of both endogenous host and exported parasite HSP70 chaperones.

New Fault Diagnosis Strategy Based on KGLRT Chart for Monitoring Chemical Processes

open access: yesApplied Sciences
Process monitoring methods play a crucial role in identifying equipment malfunctions and instrument failures, as well as in maintaining process safety and product quality. Selecting the right approach for fault detection and diagnosis is therefore vital.
