Research of Fault Location and Rapid Repair System of Distribution Network

open access: yesGong-kuang zidonghua, 2012
In view of problems of difficult location for fault section and low efficiency of rush-repair in traditional manual patrolling mode when distribution network happens fault, a fault location and rapid repair system of distribution network based on pole ...

Fault location method for distribution network Considering distortion of traveling wavefronts

open access: yesInternational Journal of Electrical Power & Energy Systems
To reduce the distortion effects of traveling wavefronts for fault location in distribution networks, a novel fault traveling wave detection method employing Robust Local Mean Decomposition (RLMD), Teager Energy Operator (TEO) and Incremental Difference ...

A Novel Traveling Wave Fault Location Method for Transmission Network Based on Directed Tree Model and Linear Fitting

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
In order to solve the problem of inaccurate fault location in the transmission network under some abnormal conditions, such as traveling wave location device faults, startup failure and time recording error, a novel traveling wave fault location method ...

Advances in Transmission Network Fault Location in Modern Power Systems: Review, Outlook and Future Works

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2021
Faults in the power system need appropriate maintenance actions at the fault point to fix the problem immediately. A high percentage of the short circuit faults in power systems occur on the transmission system where the lines pass through different ...

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Research of fault location of underground power cable based on multi-wavelet

open access: yesGong-kuang zidonghua, 2014
In view of problem of low location precision in fault location method of underground power cable based on traditional wavelet transform caused by asymmetry of wavelet function, the paper proposed a fault location method of underground power cable based ...

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.

Part I. Slip Behavior of the San Andreas Fault Through Several Earthquake Cycles Part II. A Structural Interpretation of the Aftershock "Cloud" of the 1992 Mw 7.3 Landers Earthquake [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
Part 1 of this thesis addresses the question of how variable fault slip per event is through time. This question is important, because progress in understanding and forecasting large earthquakes depends critically on precise reconstruction of the ...

Valosin‐containing protein counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its ATPase activity in vitro

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.
