Ensemble Feature Selection Method with Fast Transfer Model [PDF]
Compared with the traditional ensemble feature selection methods, the recently-developed ensemble feature selection with block-regularized [m×2] cross-validation (EFSBCV) not only has a variance of the estimator smaller than that of random [m×2] cross ...

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

Cross-domain topic transfer learning method based on multiple balance and feature fusion
In transfer learning, traditional homogeneous transfer learning assumes similar data and feature distributions between the source and target domains, focusing primarily on parameter sharing to enhance model performance.

Deep adversarial domain adaptation network
The advantage of adversarial domain adaptation is that it uses the idea of adversarial adaptation to confuse the feature distribution of two domains and solve the problem of domain transfer in transfer learning.

In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Feature extraction via heat flow analogy
Feature extraction is an important field of image processing and computer vision. Features can be classified as low-level and high-level. Low-level features do not give shape information of the objects, where the popular low-level feature ...
