Feeding Efficiency of Premature Neonates

The American Journal of Occupational Therapy, 1989
Abstract The purpose of this study was (a) to investigate the validity of the revised Neonatal Oral Motor Assessment Scale (NOMAS) in discriminating between efficient and inefficient feeders in a sample of high-risk premature neonates and (b) to identify significantly different oral motor behaviors in the two groups.

EFFICIENT FEEDING IN ANIMAL HUSBANDRY

Scientific Life, 2021
Lack of feed resources is a common problem that limits the development of livestock production. Various cataclysms, such as floods, droughts, lead to a shortage of food and feed. Among all cataclysms, drought is the main destructive natural disaster, leading to significant loss of vegetation.

High efficiency autotrack feed

IEEE Military Communications Conference, 'Bridging the Gap. Interoperability, Survivability, Security', 2003
A high efficiency autotrack feed series that uses a tracking mode coupler to generate track error signals has been developed. The mode coupler allows the use of a corrugated feed horn in doubly shaped or Cassegrain geometries to achieve extremely high overall antenna efficiencies.

Feed efficiency metrics in growing pigs

Journal of Animal Science, 2017
The objective of the present study was to quantify the interrelationships between different feed efficiency measures in growing pigs and characterize pigs divergent for a selection of these measures. The data set included data from 311 growing pigs between 42 and 91 d of age from 3 separate batches.

Efficiency of Feed Conversion

Science, 1967
Under optimum conditions, young healthy individuals of each livestock species may convert about one-third of the digestible protein in its feed into tissue protein in its body. Of this tissue protein, we use about half as food.
