Wavy‐Interlocked Stretchable Triboelectric Nanogenerators Enhanced by Liquid Metal Microflowers for Self‐Powered Wearable Motion Monitoring

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Schematic showing a stretchable triboelectric nanogenerator based on interlocked wavy architectures that uses EGaIn microflower‐embedded PVDF‐TrFE and Nylon‐6 nanofiber membranes. The multi‐petaled, electron‐rich EGaIn microflowers enhance interfacial polarization and capacitance, while the interlocked wavy architecture enlarges the effective contact ...

Floating Voltage Sensing Based on Ceramic Capacitor Ferroelectric Derating

open access: yes, 2022
This paper presents methods allowing to provide galvanically isolated DC voltage measurement with nearly infinite input impedance. Measurement is based on a ferroelectric effect, creating hysteretic capacitance vs.

New High‐Tc Charge‐Transfer Multiferroicity in the Quasi‐2D Antiferromagnet CrSbS3

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Low‐dimensional magnets, particularly 2D systems, offer a rich platform for realizing unconventional multiferroic mechanisms, especially when multiple polarization channels coexist. In the quasi‐2D antiferromagnet CrSbS3, which crystallizes in the centrosymmetric orthorhombic space group Pnma and orders magnetically at TN ≈ 90 K, two ...

Tunable fractional-order capacitor using layered ferroelectric polymers

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2017
Pairs of various Polyvinylidene fluoride P(VDF)-based polymers are used for fabricating bilayer fractional order capacitors (FOCs). The polymer layers are constructed using a simple drop casting approach.

Differential voltage amplification from ferroelectric negative capacitance [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
We demonstrate that a ferroelectric can cause a differential voltage amplification without needing an external energy source. As the ferroelectric switches from one polarization state to the other, a transfer of energy takes place from the ferroelectric ...

Polymorphic Superparaelectric Engineering Boosting Energy Storage Capacity in BaTiO3‐Based Ceramics

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Herein, Ca2+ incorporation promotes the coexistence of CaTiO3‐/BaTiO3‐derived paraferroelectric states, stabilizing cubic‐orthorhombic‐tetragonal polymorphic superparaelectric phases. This minimizes polarization energy barriers, facilitating full polarization saturation without compromising efficiency.
