Long‐Term Active Rather than Passive Restoration Promotes Soil Organic Carbon Accumulation by Alleviating Microbial Nitrogen Limitation in an Extremely Degraded Alpine Grassland

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Active restoration increases soil organic carbon stocks by reducing microbial nitrogen limitation. Nitrogen availability promotes particulate to mineral‐associated organic carbon conversion by reducing microbial carbon use efficiency. Passive restoration has no effect on soil organic carbon stocks.

A Biomarker‐Driven Ovary–Endometrium Organ‐on‐a‐Chip Mimicking 3D Multicellular Complexity and Menstrual Cyclicity for Predicting Reproductive Toxicity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We present a dual‐organ, biomarker‐integrated ovaryendometrium organ‐on‐a‐chip that recapitulates 3D tissue complexity, menstrual cycle dynamics, and hormonal crosstalk. This platform enables real‐time, cell‐typespecific fluorescent readouts of reproductive toxicity using ANGPTL4 and SERPINB2 as early‐response reporters.

The Mitochondrial Guardian α‐Amyrin Mitigates Alzheimer's Disease Pathology via Modulation of the DLK‐SARM1‐ULK1 Axis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Dietary habits play a key role in chronic diseases, and higher annual consumption of fruit and vegetable may lower risk of dementia. Artificial intelligence predicts the lipid‐like compound α‐Amyrin (αA) from plants with edible peels as a drug candidate against Alzheimer's disease.

Comparative effects of streptozotocin, dehydroepiandrosterone and letrozole with high fat diet on ovarian injury induction and functional impairment

open access: yesScientific Reports
This study investigates the mechanisms by which environmental factors affect ovarian function. Environmental toxins and unhealthy lifestyles adversely affect women’s health, primarily impair ovarian function. Environmental toxins and unhealthy lifestyles

Nap1L4a Cooperates with Scl/Klf1 to Recruit H2A.Z in Mediating Interactions Among Cis‐Regulatory Elements and Transcription Required for Primitive Erythropoiesis in Zebrafish

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Nap1l4a is required in erythropoiesis and hypoxia responses via physical interaction with Klf1 and Scl to recruit the histone variant H2A.Z. This facilitates its associated cis‐regulatory element (CRE) remodeling and the consequent chromatin assembly, and activates the transcription of erythroid lineage‐specific genes.

Study on Hepatotoxicity of Benzophenone-3 at Environmental Concentration in Postpartum Mice

open access: yesToxics
Benzophenone-3 (BP-3), a widely used ultraviolet absorber in various scenarios, exhibits estrogenic toxicity at environmental concentrations—as demonstrated in our prior work.
