FGF10 regulates hepatopancreatic ductal system differentiation

open access: yesThe FASEB Journal, 2006
The hepatopancreatic ductal system, which consists of the common bile, cystic, extra hepatic and extra pancreatic ducts, joins the liver, pancreas, and gallbladder together into the intestine through the hepatopancreatic ampulla. Differentiation of the hepatopancreatic ductal system occurs concurrently with liver and pancreas differentiation.

Wnt5a regulates Shh and Fgf10 signaling during lung development

open access: yes, 2005
The role of WNT signaling and its interactions with other morphogenetic pathways were investigated during lung development. Previously, we showed that targeted disruption of Wnt5a results in over-branching of the epithelium and thickening of the ...

Impaired FGF10 Signaling and Epithelial Development in Experimental Lung Hypoplasia With Esophageal Atresia

open access: yesFrontiers in Pediatrics, 2018
Patients with esophageal atresia (EA) and tracheoesophageal fistula (TEF) often experience persistent respiratory tract disease. In experimental models, doxorubicin-induced developmental lung abnormalities may result from downregulation of branching ...

Fgf10 und epigenetische Regulationen während der Lungenentwicklung und bei der Bronchopulmonalen Dysplasie [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
Increasing evidence is confirming the key role of FGF10 in lung developmental processes pre- and postnatally as well as in lung regeneration after injury, such like in Bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD).With regard to the role of Fgf10 in lung development,

Fgf10 patterning at E13.5.

open access: yes, 2012
Ventral and dorsal views of mouse lung at embryonic day E13.5. Whole mount in situ hybridization shows that Fgf10 expression is strongly restricted to the distal part of the mesenchyme.

Down-regulation of FGF10 in hypospadias prepuce associated with severity

open access: yesJournal of Pediatric Surgery Open
Background: Fibroblast growth factors (FGF) expressed in the genital tubercle, especially FGF8 and FGF10, may be implicated in the morphogenesis of external genitalia. We investigated the expression of FGF8 and FGF10 in hypospadias prepuce to confirm any

Bioinformatics analyses of the human FGF10 locus surrounding the first exon.

open access: yes, 2012
A: Alignment of genomic regions around and within the human [hg18] FGF10 locus to those of frog [xenTro2], chicken [galGal3], opossum [monDom4], mouse [mm9], dog [canFam2] and rhesus macaque [rheMac2] with colored regions >90% identical and the vertical ...

FGF10 missense mutations in aplasia of lacrimal and salivary glands (ALSG)

open access: yes, 2007
Aplasia of lacrimal and salivary glands (ALSG) is an autosomal dominant congenital anomaly characterized by aplasia, atresia or hypoplasia of the lacrimal and salivary systems.

Harderian Gland Development and Degeneration in the Fgf10-Deficient Heterozygous Mouse

open access: yesJournal of Developmental Biology
The mouse Harderian gland (HG) is a secretory gland that covers the posterior portion of the eyeball, opening at the base of the nictitating membrane. The HG serves to protect the eye surface from infection with its secretions. Mice open their eyelids at
