Magnetic Milli‐Spinner for Robotic Endovascular Surgery

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The magnetic milli‐spinner, with its unique structural design, achieves rapid and stable navigation through complex vasculature at speeds up to 23 cm·s−1. It further enables multifunctional treatment, including localized suction and shear for efficient clot removal, targeted drug delivery, and in situ embolization for aneurysm therapy, establishing it ...

Efficacy of neuroendoscopic-assisted surgery in the management of symptomatic sacral perineural (Tarlov) cysts: a technical report

open access: yesFrontiers in Surgery
IntroductionThe Tarlov cysts are pathological enlargements of the cerebrospinal fluid spaces between the endoneurium and perineurium, which can cause intolerable sciatic pain, motor impairment of lower limbs, and bladder/bowel dysfunction. Currently, the

Rapid Glass‐Substrate Digital Light 3D Printing Enables Anatomically Accurate Stroke Patient‐Specific Carotid Artery‐on‐Chips for Personalized Thrombosis Investigation

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A rapid glass‐substrate 3D microfabrication method creates anatomically accurate carotid artery‐on‐a‐chip models from stroke patient scans in 2 h. These miniaturized devices replicate patient‐specific blood vessel geometry and flow patterns, enabling real‐time imaging of clot formation under controlled injury.

Micrometer‐scale tPA beads amplify plasmin generation for enhanced thrombolytic therapy

open access: yesBioengineering & Translational Medicine
Rapid restoration of blood flow is critical in treating acute ischemic stroke. Current thrombolytic therapies using tissue plasminogen activator (tPA) are limited by low recanalization rates and risks of off‐target bleeding.

Bacteria‐Responsive Nanostructured Drug Delivery Systems for Targeted Antimicrobial Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Bacteria‐responsive nanocarriers are designed to release antimicrobials only in the presence of infection‐specific cues. This selective activation ensures drug release precisely at the site of infection, avoiding premature or indiscriminate release, and enhancing efficacy.
