Extended field-of-view ultrasound
Seminars in Ultrasound, CT and MRI, 2001When ultrasound became a clinical reality in the 1970s, extended field of view was the only form of imaging available because all ultrasound images were created with articulated arm scanners that encompassed the area of interest in its entirety. With the advent of high-quality real-time imaging in the 1980s, the extended field of view was lost, and ...

Reduced circular field‐of‐view imaging
Magnetic Resonance in Medicine, 1998AbstractA rapid dynamic imaging technique based on polar k‐space sampling is presented. A gain in temporal resolution is achieved by angular undersampling. A detailed analysis of the point spread function of angular undersampled polar imaging reveals a reduced diameter of the corresponding circular field of view.

Hypertelescope with multiplexed fields of view
Optics Letters, 2020Hypertelescope interferometers having many highly diluted sub-apertures are capable of directly imaging, within a narrow field of view, celestial objects at a high resolution thanks to pupil densification. This Letter verifies with OpticStudio modeling the possibility of simultaneously imaging multiple such fields.

Multiple field of view MR fluoroscopy
Magnetic Resonance in Medicine, 2001AbstractThis work describes a real‐time imaging and visualization technique that allows multiple field of view (FOV) imaging. A stream of images from a single receiver channel can be reconstructed at multiple FOVs within each image frame. Alternately, or in addition, when multiple receiver channels are available, image streams from each channel can be ...

Human field of regard, field of view, and attention bias
Computer Methods and Programs in Biomedicine, 2016Human field of regard (FOR) is an important concept that should be considered along with field of view (FOV) for people with/without handicaps, but previous studies have neglected this aspect of human perception. In the current study, we suggest and test a new virtual reality (VR) software with which to evaluate individual's detection abilities in the ...
