It is very important to investigate blemishes in intensified CCD (ICCD) because of the difference in visual effect between direct observing image intensifiers and ICCD cameras for human. The reasons which result in view field blemishes of low light image intensifiers are analyzed and relative standards of blemishes' dimension, quantity and ...

Field of View and Equivalent Viewing Power of Near-Vision Telescopes
Optometry and Vision Science, 1995There are often substantial differences in linear field of view (FOV) and equivalent viewing power (EVP) when a distance telescope is either fitted with an objective lens cap or adjusted in length to focus for near vision. In addition, larger differences in linear FOV are found for Galilean than for Keplerian telescopes of similar magnification and EVP.
