Enteropathogenic E. coli (EPEC) infects the human intestinal epithelium, resulting in severe illness and diarrhoea. In this study, we compared the infection of cancer‐derived cell lines with human organoid‐derived models of the small intestine. We observed a delayed in attachment, inflammation and cell death on primary cells, indicating that host ...

Compact Band-Selective Power Divider Using One-Dimensional Metamaterial Structure
A band-selective power divider is demonstrated for the first time. By replacing lumped element right-handed (RH) and left-handed (LH) transmission lines (TL) in a conventional Wilkinson power divider, it is possible to achieve both power division and ...

By dawn or dusk—how circadian timing rewrites bacterial infection outcomes
The circadian clock shapes immune function, yet its influence on infection outcomes is only beginning to be understood. This review highlights how circadian timing alters host responses to the bacterial pathogens Salmonella enterica, Listeria monocytogenes, and Streptococcus pneumoniae revealing that the effectiveness of immune defense depends not only

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Design of a Microstrip Diplexer-Integrated Filtering Power Divider
This study proposed a new method and structure for designing a diplexer-integrated filtering power divider. A filtering function with equal power division was integrated with a diplexer. The multifunctional diplexer comprised eight coupled resonators and

Wideband filtering power divider with high selectivity
A wideband filtering power divider (PD) with high selectivity is introduced, based on a terminated coupled line structure. The bandwidth tuning, isolation and impedance matching performances optimisation are presented and explained.

Aggressive prostate cancer is associated with pericyte dysfunction
Tumor‐produced TGF‐β drives pericyte dysfunction in prostate cancer. This dysfunction is characterized by downregulation of some canonical pericyte markers (i.e., DES, CSPG4, and ACTA2) while maintaining the expression of others (i.e., PDGFRB, NOTCH3, and RGS5).

Wideband filtering power dividers with/without notch band
AbstractLow loss and compact wideband filtering power dividers (WB‐FPDs) with/without notch band are proposed. The WB‐FPDs are designed using wideband bandpass filter based on asymmetric stepped‐impedance resonator (SIR). Parallel coupled microstrip lines are used to create both wideband filtering characteristic and two additional transmission poles. A
