S.657-671Detailed computer simulations are a recent, efficient way to gain valuable insights into filter materials and particle filtration processes. The scales where filtration phenomena can be observed range from the macroscopic regime of flow around a

EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.

Filtration Application in Production of Liquid Sugars [PDF]
One of the separation methods with no phase changes is filtration which defines as separation of a liquid part by passing it through a porous matter with yarn that keeps solids on it (retenate) and liquid can pass through it (filtrate).

We analyze cisplatin–DNA adducts (CDAs) and double‐strand breaks (DSBs) in a cell‐cycle‐dependent manner. We find that CDAs form similarly across all cell cycle phases. DSBs arise only in S‐phase. CDAs might not directly impair DSB repair, but S‐phase DSB lesions evolve in the presence of CDAs and disrupt repair in G2, also causing radiosensitization ...

Let G be a semisimple, simply connected algebraic group over a field k, and let B be a Borel subgroup. The motivation of this paper is the study of tensor products of G-modules. For a dominant weight \(\lambda\), let L(\(\lambda\)) denote the associated Weyl module.

Investigation of skin formation during filtration of micro crystalline cellulose
Separating solids from liquids through filtration is an important unit operation employed in a wide range of industrial sectors. It is vital that accurate and applicable models are employed when designing industrial sized filters.

Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...

Here, we demonstrate that HS1BP3 interacts with Cortactin through a proline‐rich region (PRR3.1) and show that this interaction, and HS1BP3 itself, promote cancer cell proliferation and invasion. Inhibition of this interaction leads to build‐up of TKS5 in multivesicular endosomes and altered secretion of CD63 and CD9, providing an explanation for the ...

Modeling of waterborne pollution of roadside soils [PDF]
Motor transport and road maintenance are the determining factors of environmental pollution in the roadside zone. The main acceptor of pollution in this case is the soil.
