This paper studies the finite-time synchronization control problem of multi-manipulator systems under aperiodically intermittent communication. In contrast to the traditional periodic intermittent communication schemes widely adopted in previous research,

The paper proves a unified analysis for finite-time anti-synchronization of a class of integer-order and fractional-order chaotic systems. We establish an effective controller to ensure that the chaotic system with unknown parameters achieves anti ...

Scheduling for finite time consensus
We study the problem of link scheduling for discrete-time agents to achieve average consensus in finite time under communication constraints. We provide necessary and sufficient conditions under which finite time consensus is possible. Furthermore, we prove bounds on the consensus time and exhibit provably optimal communication policies.

Finite-time amplitudes in Matrix theory [PDF]
We evaluate one-loop finite-time amplitudes for graviton scattering in Matrix theory and compare to the corresponding amplitudes in supergravity. We find agreement for arbitrary time intervals at leading order in distance, providing a functional agreement between supergravity and Matrix theory.

ABSTRACT Objective To explore how cerebral hypoxia and Normal‐Appearing White Matter (NAWM) integrity affect MS lesion burden and clinical course. Methods Seventy‐nine MS patients, including 13 clinically isolated syndrome (CIS) patients and 66 relapsing–remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS) patients, and 44 healthy controls (HCs) were recruited from ...

A Q‐Learning Algorithm to Solve the Two‐Player Zero‐Sum Game Problem for Nonlinear Systems
A Q‐learning algorithm to solve the two‐player zero‐sum game problem for nonlinear systems. ABSTRACT This paper deals with the two‐player zero‐sum game problem, which is a bounded L2$$ {L}_2 $$‐gain robust control problem. Finding an analytical solution to the complex Hamilton‐Jacobi‐Issacs (HJI) equation is a challenging task.

This article proposes a convergent adaptive observer for a damped wave PDE and an infinite‐dimensional ODE coupled in cascade using sampled‐in‐space ODE state measurements. The proposed observer estimates the distributed states of the PDE and ODE along with unknown PDE parameters and spatial input.
