Finite Time Disturbance Observer Based on Air Conditioning System Control Scheme
A novel robust finite time disturbance observer (RFTDO) based on an independent output-finite time composite control (FTCC) scheme is proposed for an air conditioning-system temperature and humidity regulation. The variable air volume (VAV) of the system

Continuous uniformly finite time exact disturbance observer based control for fixed-time stabilization of nonlinear systems with mismatched disturbances. [PDF]
This paper presents a continuous composite control scheme to achieve fixed-time stabilization for nonlinear systems with mismatched disturbances. The composite controller is constructed in two steps: First, uniformly finite time exact disturbance ...

Finite-time control for double-layer Peltier system based on finite-time observer [PDF]
The Peltier is a refrigeration device and usually used in the form of single layer. Sometimes single-layer Peltier may not have sufficient refrigerating capacity with deeper application. To this end, a double-layer Peltier system is proposed in this article.

A numerical–experimental framework is developed for characterizing multi‐matrix fiber‐reinforced polymers (MM‐FRPs) combining epoxy and polyurethane matrices. Harmonic bending tests are integrated with finite element model updating (FEMU) to simultaneously identify elastic and viscoelastic material parameters.

Robust finite-time stabilization and observation of a planar system revisited [PDF]
The second order planar nonlinear affine control problem is studied. A homogeneous robust finite-time stabilizing control is developed for the most general case of matched and, the more challenging, mismatched nonlinear perturbations. A homogeneous observer is designed for the planar system.
