Simple Finite-Control-Set Model Predictive Control of Grid-Forming Inverters With LCL Filters
Grid-forming inverters (GFI) play an important role as power interfaces for distributed generation units in islanded microgrids, where inductive-capacitive-inductive (LCL) output filters are commonly employed to mitigate the harmonics injected by voltage-

Synthesizing the L\"{u} attractor by parameter-switching [PDF]
In this letter we synthesize numerically the L\"{u} attractor starting from the generalized Lorenz and Chen systems, by switching the control parameter inside a chosen finite set of values on every successive adjacent finite time intervals.

Random Finite Set Theory and Optimal Control of Large Collaborative Swarms
Controlling large swarms of robotic agents has many challenges including, but not limited to, computational complexity due to the number of agents, uncertainty in the functionality of each agent in the swarm, and uncertainty in the swarm's configuration.

Disordered (Fe50Co50)1−xPtx thin films exhibit a pronounced anomalous Nernst effect (ANE) with a strong composition dependence on both rigid and flexible substrates. The transverse thermoelectric response peaks near 22.5 at.% Pt, accompanied by enhanced αxy/σxy scaling, thermal transport, and ANE sensitivity.

The wettability of aluminum droplets (Al) on different copper substrates (Cu), where liquid Al spreads on solid Cu surfaces to form a liquid–solid interface, is studied numerically and experimentally. The experimental and numerical results show good agreement in the fast‐spreading regime.
