The Winchcombe fireball—That lucky survivor
AbstractOn February 28, 2021, a fireball dropped ∼0.6 kg of recovered CM2 carbonaceous chondrite meteorites in South‐West England near the town of Winchcombe. We reconstruct the fireball's atmospheric trajectory, light curve, fragmentation behavior, and pre‐atmospheric orbit from optical records contributed by five networks.

Green fireballs and ball lightning
This paper presents evidence of an apparent connection between ball lightning and a green fireball. On the evening of the 16 May 2006 at least three fireballs were seen by many people in the skies of Queensland, Australia.

Temperature and Transverse Expansion of Fireballs in Pb+Pb Collisions at the LHC
We analyze hadron transverse momentum spectra from Pb+Pb Collisions recorded by the LHC detector ALICE. As the theoretical model we use a Monte Carlo model which includes production and decays of resonances.

Why a Hydrogen fireball should not be modelled as a BLEVE event
The rapid increasing interest in the usage of Hydrogen has obviously triggered a lot of safety related questions. Apart from non-trivial questions about failure frequencies and ignition probabilities, the consequence modelling of potential events also ...

ABSTRACT This paper examines how organizations in the automotive sector respond to the internal communication challenges posed by the transition to electric vehicle production. Unlike typical organizational change, electrification is driven not only by market forces but also by sociopolitical and regulatory pressures to reduce carbon emissions and ...

Eclipsed X-Ray Bursts from Magnetar SGR J1935+2154 and the Fireball Measurements
In theory, burst activity of the magnetar can lead to the formation of fireballs trapped by the magnetic field and corotating with the star. However, smoking-gun observational evidence of the fireball is elusive.

Renormalization Group Equation for Tsallis Statistics
The nonextensive statistics proposed by Tsallis has found wide applicability, being present even in the description of experimental data from high energy collisions. A system with a fractal structure in its energy-momentum space, named thermofractal, was
