Post-scission fission theory: Neutron emission in fission [PDF]
A survey of theoretical representations of two of the observables in neutron emission in fission is given, namely, the prompt fission neutron spectrum N (E) and the average prompt neutron multiplicity {bar {nu}}{sub p}.

Nuclear data and measurements series: Ratio of the prompt-fission-neutron spectrum of plutonium 239 to that of uranium 235 [PDF]
The prompt-fission-neutron spectrum resulting from /sup 239/Pu fission induced by 0.55 MeV incident neutrons is measured from 1.0 to 10.0 MeV relative to that of /sup 235/U fission induced by the same incident-energy neutrons. The measurements employ the

Application of the dinuclear system model to fission process
A theoretical evaluation of the collective excitation spectra of nucleus at large deformations is possible within the framework of the dinuclear system model, which treats the wave function of the fissioning nucleus as a superposition of a mononucleus ...

Dependence of the prompt fission γ-ray spectrum on the entrance channel of compound nucleus: spontaneous vs neutron-induced fission [PDF]
Prompt γ-ray spectra were measured for neutron-induced fission of $^{239,241}$Pu with incident neutron energy from thermal to about 100 keV and spontaneous fission of $^{240,242}$Pu using the Detector for Advanced Neutron Capture Experiments (DANCE ...

Neutron spectrum from 252Cf spontaneous fission [PDF]
Includes bibliography.Measurements have been made of the neutron spectrum from the spontaneous fission of 252Cf in the restframe of the fragment by simultaneous observation of the neutron time-of-flight and the fragment velocity.

(NH4)2[Tc2O2(S2O7)4]: An Unexpected Technetium(V)‐Sulfate From the Reaction of (NH4)(TcO4) With SO3
The reaction of the radioactive pertechnetate (99TcO4)− with the oxidizer SO3 leads to blue crystals of (NH4)2[Tc2O2(S2O7)4]. The complex dimeric [Tc2O2(S2O7)4]2− anion exhibits the technetium in the oxidation state V, showing that reduction occurs during the reaction.

Correlations between fission fragment yields and the prompt fission γ-ray spectrum [PDF]
We illustrate correlations between the prompt fission γ-ray spectrum (PFGS) and the input fission fragment yields Y (A) with a Monte Carlo implementation of the statistical Hauser-Feshbach decay theory, the CGMF code.
