This study detected Mycoplasma haemofelis (34.78%) and Candidatus M. haemominutum (65.21%) in 23% of Iranian cats via PCR. Infection correlated with age, gender and outdoor access (*p < 0.05), causing significant hematologic/biochemical changes. No inter‐species differences in clinical presentation emerged between Mhf and CMhm. ABSTRACT Background Data

Detection FIV Gag protein by Western Blot.
The p24 FIV Gag protein was detected in the positive control (in vitro FIV-infected MCH 5–4 cells, lane 2) and in PLN-derived leukocytes of all FIV-infected cats (lanes 9–12), but was not detected in blood-derived leukocytes (14–17).

Cellular and Molecular Mechanisms Involved with Feline CD8+ T Cell Mediated Anti-FIV Activity
A population of activated CD8+ T cells that express the B7.1 (CD80) and B7.2 (CD86) costimulatory molecules and their ligand CTLA4 exist in the blood of asymptomatic FIV-infected cats.
