Continuous Fixed-Time Sliding Mode Attitude Controller Design for Rigid-Body Spacecraft
Fast and high-precision attitude control for the rigid spacecraft is important for its broad applications in astronautics. In this paper, we address this problem via continuous nonsingular fixed-time sliding mode control approach.

Prespecifiable fixed‐time control for uncertain nonlinear system with input quantization
This paper focuses on the global prespecifiable fixed‐time control problem of uncertain strict‐feedback nonlinear system with input quantization. In contrast to the existing fixed‐time control results, the signs of the control gains can be unknown in our

Fixed‐time attitude tracking control for rigid spacecraft
This study addresses the fixed‐time attitude tracking for rigid spacecraft with inertia uncertainties and external disturbances. Firstly, a new fixed‐time sliding surface based on the bi‐limit homogeneous theory is proposed. Secondly, a non‐singular sliding mode control is designed to solve the robust fixed‐time attitude tracking problem.

Robust Fixed-Time Stability: Application to Sliding-Mode Control [PDF]
This article deals with robust fixed-time stability and stabilization. First, new global robust fixed-time stability results are proposed for scalar systems by using constant and variable exponent coefficients. Then, they are applied to global robust fixed-time stabilization of a class of uncertain nonlinear second order systems by using sliding mode ...

A Robust Fixed-Time Sliding Mode Control for Quadrotor UAV
This paper proposes a robust algorithm based on a fixed-time sliding mode controller (FTSMC) for a Quadrotor aircraft. This approach is based on Lyapunov theory, which guarantees system stability.

Fixed-Time Parameter Adaptation for Safe Control Synthesis
This paper introduces a parameter adaptation-based control law for a class of nonlinear, control-affine, safety-critical systems subject to additive, parameter-affine model uncertainty. It is shown that the uncertainty is learned in fixed-time, i.e., within a finite time independent of the initial parameter estimates, without requiring persistence of ...

Fixed‐time fault‐tolerance attitude tracking control for spacecraft without unwinding
In this paper, the attitude tracking control problem is investigated for rigid spacecraft subjected to external disturbance, inertia uncertainties, and actuator faults. The rotation matrix is used to model the spacecraft attitude control system which can

Fixed-Time Homogeneous Integral Controller
Abstract We propose a homogeneous integral controller with positive homogeneity degree, for systems with relative degree two and three. Its design and the convergence proof is achieved by the construction of an explicit homogenous Lyapunov function. A combination of this controller, with a discontinuous one developed by the authors in a previous work,

Fixed-time input-to-state stability and applications to fixed-time sliding mode control
This paper investigates the robust stability properties of two simple fixed-time stabilizing controls tailored for scalar systems. These algorithms require a small amount of tuning parameter providing fixed-time stability, and ensuring trajectory robustness against disturbances and/or measurement noise.
