Fixed-Time Observer Based Prescribed-Time Containment Control of Unmanned Underwater Vehicles with Faults and Uncertainties

open access: yesSensors, 2019
The problem of prescribed-time containment control of unmanned underwater vehicles (UUVs) with faults and uncertainties is considered. Different from both regular finite-time control and fixed-time control, the proposed prescribed-time control strategy ...

Synchronization of Time-Varying Delayed Neural Networks by Fixed-Time Control

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2018
This paper discusses synchronization of time-varying delayed neural networks by fixed-time control. First, several new fixed-time stability theorems of the dynamic system are discussed, and the estimation of the convergence time is also gained.

Fixed-Time Convergent Guidance Law with Impact Angle Control

open access: yesComplexity, 2020
The existing convergence control guidance laws are designed via the Lyapunov asymptotic stability theory or finite-time stability theory. However, guidance law based on the Lyapunov asymptotic stability theory would lead the states to zero only as time ...

Fixed-Time Coverage Control of Mobile Robot Networks Considering the Time Cost Metric

open access: yesSensors, 2022
In this work, we studied the area coverage control problem (ACCP) based on the time cost metric of a robot network with an input disturbance in a dynamic environment, which was modeled by a time-varying risk density function.

Fixed‐time attitude tracking control for rigid spacecraft

open access: yesIET Control Theory & Applications, 2020
This study addresses the fixed‐time attitude tracking for rigid spacecraft with inertia uncertainties and external disturbances. Firstly, a new fixed‐time sliding surface based on the bi‐limit homogeneous theory is proposed. Secondly, a non‐singular sliding mode control is designed to solve the robust fixed‐time attitude tracking problem.

Fixed-Time Tracking Control for Nonlinear Cascade Systems with Unknown High Powers

open access: yes, 2022
This paper investigates the global fixed-time tracking control problem of nonlinear cascade systems with unknown high powers. In the process of control design, a upper bound and a lower bound of high powers are introduced to compensate the unknown system

Finite-Time Extended State Observer-Based Fixed-Time Attitude Control for Hypersonic Vehicles

open access: yesMathematics, 2022
A finite-time extended, state-observer-based, fixed-time backstepping control algorithm was designed for hypersonic flight vehicles. To enhance the robustness of the controller, two novel finite-time extended state observers were introduced to compensate

Robust Fixed-Time Stability: Application to Sliding-Mode Control [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, 2022
This article deals with robust fixed-time stability and stabilization. First, new global robust fixed-time stability results are proposed for scalar systems by using constant and variable exponent coefficients. Then, they are applied to global robust fixed-time stabilization of a class of uncertain nonlinear second order systems by using sliding mode ...

Adaptive Finite-time and Fixed-time Control Design using Output Stability Conditions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2022
International audienceThe present paper provides a sufficient condition to ensure output finite-time and fixed-time stability. Comparing with analogous researches the proposed result is less restrictive and obtained for a wider class of systems.
