Hybrid Cascaded H-Bridge Multilevel-Inverter Induction-Motor-Drive Direct Torque Control for Automotive Applications [PDF]
International audienceThis paper presents a hybrid cascaded H-bridge multilevel motor drive direct torque control (DTC) scheme for electric vehicles (EVs) or hybrid EVs. The control method is based on DTC operating principles.

ERRFI1, a neural crest (NC)‐associated gene, was upregulated in melanoma and negatively correlated with the expression of melanocytic differentiation markers and the susceptibility of melanoma cells toward BRAF inhibitors (BRAFi). Knocking down ERRFI1 significantly increased the sensitivity of melanoma cells to BRAFi.

Smoothly Transitive Fixed Frequency Hysteresis Current Control Based on Optimal Voltage Space Vector
This paper proposes a smoothly transitive fixed frequency hysteresis current control (ST-FHCC) scheme applied to an active power filter (APF). First of all, a switching fixed frequency hysteresis current control (S-FHCC) is introduced, which is based on ...

Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.

Fixed switching frequency sliding mode control using an hysteresis band controller
This paper presents a hysteresis band controller in charge of fixing the switching frequency of a sliding mode controller. The proposed control measures the switching period of the control signal and modifies the hysteresis band of the comparator to regulate the switching frequency of the sliding motion.

Correlation of the differential expression of PIK3R1 and its spliced variant, p55α, in pan‐cancer
PIK3R1 undergoes alternative splicing to generate the isoforms, p85α and p55α. By combining large patient datasets with laboratory experiments, we show that PIK3R1 spliced variants shape cancer behavior. While tumors lose the protective p85α isoform, p55α is overexpressed, changes linked to poorer survival and more pronounced in African American ...

A general unified approach to modelling switching-converter power stages [PDF]
A method for modelling switching-converter power stages is developed, whose starting point is the unified state-space representation of the switched networks and whose end result is either a complete state-space description or its equivalent small-signal
