Aspectos analíticos da resposta do detector de ionização em chama para ésteres de ácidos graxos em biodiesel e alimentos

open access: yesQuímica Nova, 2012
The analysis of fatty acid (FA) esters by gas chromatography and flame ionization detector (FID) normally uses the normalization method. However, if one FA is wrongly estimated, the results could be greatly affected.

Analiza comparativă a concentraţiilor ionilor metalici în condiţiile utilizării de aparatură de laborator diferită [The comparison between the concentrations of metallic ions obtained in the same laboratory using different apparatus] [PDF]

open access: yesBucovina Forestieră, 2004
In the framework of ICP Forests, within the period 1997-1999, the concentrations of Na and Mg in precipitation samples collected in open field and under the wood canopy were determined in the laboratory of ICAS Campulung by atomic absorption ...

Analysis of condensate oil by comprehensive two-dimensional gas chromatography

open access: yesPetroleum Exploration and Development, 2012
Twenty-two condensate oil samples from the Sichuan Basin are analyzed by comprehensive two-dimensional gas chromatography (GC×GC). Light hydrocarbon components are separated completely without the influence of co-eluting peaks, and the fingerprint ...

Ionic Precursors Transformed Into Vinyl Acetate Synthesis Catalyst via Reaction‐Driven Restructuring

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work demonstrates that a simple physical mixture of Pd and Au ionic precursors, KOAc promoter, and SiO2 support can transform into a highly active vinyl acetate synthesis catalyst through reaction‐driven restructuring. The results highlight reaction‐induced restructuring as an innovative and sustainable catalyst design strategy.

Origin of Excessive Ionization in Flames [PDF]

open access: yesNature, 1964
IT has been known for a long time that combustion reactions of the type occurring in flames are sometimes accompanied by an extremely high degree of ionization and excitation of the flame gas1. In fact, electron concentrations have been observed which are several orders of magnitude higher than the values given by Lindemann–Saha's equation which ...

Gold‐Stabilized Copper Enables Anodic Hydrogen Evolution for Ultralow‐Voltage CO‐to‐Ethylene Electrolysis

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Gold‐stabilized copper suppresses hydroxide‐driven deactivation during anodic hydrogen evolution from furfural. Pairing this low‐potential anode with CO‐to‐ethylene electroreduction enables sub‐1 V operation at 400 mA cm−2, high single‐pass CO conversion, and co‐production of ethylene, furoic acid, and a separate hydrogen stream.
