The Flavour Portal to Dark Matter [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
We present a class of models in which dark matter (DM) is a fermionic singlet under the Standard Model (SM) gauge group but is charged under a symmetry of flavour that acts as well on the SM fermions. Interactions between DM and SM particles are mediated

Recent Advances in Carbon Cathode Materials toward High‐Performing Zinc‐Ion Hybrid Supercapacitors

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Aqueous zinc‐ion hybrid supercapacitors (ZHSCs) have emerged as promising next‐generation electrochemical energy‐storage devices. Porous carbon materials have been extensively studied as cathodes, with advances in tailoring pore structures and material properties to enhance performance.

Two-zero textures of the Majorana neutrino mass matrix from ℤ 3 gauging of ℤ N non-invertible symmetry

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
Texture-zero ansatze offer an economical description of neutrino masses, with current data allowing only seven inequivalent two-zero Majorana textures in the charged-lepton mass basis.

Charged lepton flavour violation from inverse seesaw with flavour and CP symmetries [PDF]

open access: yes
We study charged lepton flavour violation in a scenario in which light neutrino masses are generated via the inverse seesaw mechanism with 3+3 gauge singlet fermions, Ni and Sj, i,j=1,2,3.

FCNC-free MHDM from broken family symmetries [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
We demonstrate how residual flavour symmetries, infrared signatures of symmetry breaking in complete models of flavour, can naturally forbid (or limit in a flavour specific way) flavour-changing neutral currents (FCNC) in multi-Higgs-doublet models (MHDM)

Vacancy‐Driven Ni Exsolution in Prussian Blue Analogues Creates Cooperative Defect–Metal Sites for Alkaline Hydrogen Evolution

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Multimetal Prussian blue analogues (PBAs) are converted by low‐temperature Ar annealing into a cavity/CN‐vacancy architecture that triggers in situ Ni exsolution, creating dense Ni‐PBA interfacial motifs. These motifs optimize water dissociation and H* adsorption in alkaline media, delivering markedly accelerated HER kinetics and long‐term stability ...

Electrically Tunable Piezotronic Transistor by Coupling Interface Polar Symmetry and Strain Gradient

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A macroscale tip‐induced strain gradient generates bulk piezo‐charges in GaN, enabling bias‐controlled shielding and selective Schottky barrier modulation. This strain‐gradient piezotronic transistor exhibits electrically switchable high‐ and low‐sensitivity states, providing ultrahigh strain sensitivity and wide tunability for adaptive mechanical ...

Discrete flavour and CP symmetries in light of JUNO and neutrino global fit

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
Working within the reference three-neutrino mixing framework, we confront the lepton mixing predictions derived using non-Abelian discrete flavour and CP symmetries with the first JUNO data on the solar neutrino mixing parameters sin2 θ 12 and with the ...

Emergent Spinning and Orbital Motion in Clustered Wind‐Assisted Flyers

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Inspired by natural snowflake geometries, paper‐cut flyers exhibit geometry‐defined spinning and orbital motions during cluster formation in a wind tunnel. Collective flights of multiple paperflakes reveal dynamic clustering, fragmentation, and continuously evolving spin behaviors.
