Solving the strong CP problem without axions
We formulate general conditions under which the strong CP problem is solved by spontaneous CP violation. Quark-mass matrix elements are polynomials in the CP-breaking order parameters, engineered such that their determinant is a real constant.

Universal predictions of Siegel modular invariant theories near the fixed points
We analyze a general class of locally supersymmetric, CP and modular invariant models of lepton masses depending on two complex moduli taking values in the vicinity of a fixed point, where the theory enjoys a residual symmetry under a finite group.

Modular flavor models with positive modular weights: a new lepton model building
We propose an interesting assignment of positive modular weights for fields in a modular non-Abelian discrete flavor symmetry. By this assignment, we can construct inverse seesaw and linear seesaw models without any additional symmetries which possess ...

The flavour puzzle and flavour symmetries
The presence of approximate flavour symmetries is invoked to make New Physics models near the TeV scale compatible with the very demanding quark flavour violation tests. These tests pose a serious threat for any acceptable Standard Model extension at the TeV scale, motivated by naturalness issues.

New physics in the third generation. A comprehensive SMEFT analysis and future prospects
We present a comprehensive analysis of electroweak, flavor, and collider bounds on the complete set of dimension-six SMEFT operators in the U(2)5-symmetric limit. This operator basis provides a consistent framework to describe a wide class of new physics

Flavour Permutation Symmetry and Fermion Mixing
We discuss our recently proposed S3(down)xS3(up) flavour-permutation-symmetric mixing observables, giving expressions for them in terms of (moduli-squared) of the mixing matrix elements. We outline their successful use in providing flavour-symmetric descriptions of (non-flavour-symmetric) lepton mixing schemes.
