FLC polymerization: Another hurdle towards standardization of FLC measurements

Clinica Chimica Acta, 2021
In the November issue of this journal, Caponi et al. convincingly show that free light chain (FLC) lambda measurements are influenced by the FLC-polymerization status. With liquid chromatography using a size-exclusion column they separated monoclonal FLC dimers from monomers.

Properties of polymer FLC having a 2-methylbutanoyl group: FLC/polymer FLC, polymer flcpolymer FLC mixtures, and copolymer FLC

Ferroelectrics, 1993
Abstract The properties of the binary mixtures of polymer FLCs with a low degree of polymerization and low molecular-weight compounds and othzr polymers are presented. Copolymers were also studied to increase the compatibility of the mesogens. Phase separation was observed in the mixtures at the smectic-isotropic transition temperature.

Comparison of DC Motor Position Control Simulation using MABSA-FLC and PSO-FLC

2019 IEEE 15th International Colloquium on Signal Processing & Its Applications (CSPA), 2019
This paper explained about the standard fuzzy logic controller that will be compared in terms of performance for simulation with a modified adaptive bats sonar algorithm (MABSA) and also a particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm. A MATLAB toolbox is used to design the fuzzy logic controller (FLC).

POLARISATION INSENSITIVE DIFFRACTIVE FLC SYSTEMS

Ferroelectrics, 1996
Abstract We show that when used as diffractive optical elements, FLC displays are inherently independent of polarisation and the overall diffractive effect of the device is identical to an array of imperfect {0, π} phase modulators. This realization opens the path for FLC diffraction to be used in a much wider range of optical systems. In this paper we

Developing a type-2 FLC through embedded type-1 FLCs

2008 IEEE International Conference on Fuzzy Systems (IEEE World Congress on Computational Intelligence), 2008
Type-1 fuzzy logic controllers (FLCs) have been widely employed in many control applications as they give a good performance and it is relatively easy to extract the type-1 FLC parameters from experts. However, type-1 FLCs cannot fully handle the encountered uncertainties in changing unstructured environments as they use crisp type-1 fuzzy sets ...
