A weakly solvating ether solvent, 1,2‐dimethoxypropane (DMP), is proposed for use in localized high‐concentration electrolytes (LHCEs) for lithium metal batteries (LMBs). These DMP‐based LHCEs simultaneously suppress lithium metal corrosion and cathode degradation—two interrelated processes that accelerate calendar aging of LMBs.

A Memristor‐Based In‐Memory Computing System‐on‐Chip with Efficient Depthwise Convolution
We present a memristor‐based in‐memory computing (IMC) architecture that enables efficient depthwise convolution (DWC) acceleration. Fabricated in a system‐on‐chip with crossbar arrays, the design improves memory utilization. Experimental validation demonstrates the first hardware acceleration of DWC in IMC, achieving a digital comparable inference ...

A Soft Robotic Jellyfish with Decoupled Actuators for Agile 3D Locomotion
This study presents a soft robotic jellyfish featuring a functionally decoupled actuation architecture. By separating propulsion, steering, and vertical regulation into independent modules, the robot overcomes conventional coupled‐motion limitations. Utilizing a passive‐valve‐based differential drag strategy and lateral water jets, it achieves agile 3D

This work presents a comprehensive framework bridging device fabrication, modeling, and system‐level simulation for an indium‐gallium‐zinc‐oxide (IGZO) charge‐trap synaptic transistor‐based neuromorphic system. By developing a precise SPICE model derived from fabricated IGZO synaptic transistors, the study incorporates parasitic RC loads into array ...

Deinking recycled paper using column flotation
The degree of waste paper recycling has been increasing steadily in North America over the last decade. Flotation is a popular method for removing ink from fibres (deinking) and is traditionally performed in mechanical cells.

Cross flow flotation column for coal and minerals beneficiation [PDF]
An apparatus and process are disclosed for the separation of coal from pyritic impurities using a modified froth flotation system. The froth flotation column incorporates a helical track about the inner wall of the column in a region intermediate between

Abstract Basking sharks, Cetorhinus maximus (Gunnerus, Brugden [Squalus maximus], Det Kongelige Norske Videnskabers Selskabs Skrifter, 1765, vol. 3, pp. 33–49), feed by gaping their mouths and gill slits, greatly reorienting their cranial skeletons to filter food from water.
