Application of flotation column for Cl‐ and N, N′‐bis (2‐hydroxyethyl) piperazine separation in gas sweetening unit

open access: yesEngineering Reports, 2019
The degradation of amine solvents leads to increasing costs and deterioration in long term performance. Therefore, the purification of the solvents is needed to guarantee smoother operations.

Functional anatomy, jaw mechanisms, and feeding behavior of Dunkleosteus terrelli (Placodermi, Arthrodira)

open access: yesThe Anatomical Record, EarlyView.
A new musculoskeletal reconstruction and revision of the cranio‐mandibular anatomy of the Devonian arthrodire placoderm Dunkleosteus terrelli from a comparative and functional anatomical perspective. Dunkleosteus is a specialized arthrodire with many specializations for feeding on large vertebrates, and many of its features are part of broader ...

A detailed redescription of a skeletally immature ‘Redondasaurus’ suggests ontogenetic transformations in the taxon mirror phytosaurian morphological evolution

open access: yesThe Anatomical Record, EarlyView.
Abstract The study of morphological evolution is fundamentally tied to ontogeny, yet studies of these heterochronic processes in the fossil record are rare. Fossils belonging to an ontogenetic series are difficult to assign to an ontogenetic stage due to inconsistent proxies for skeletal ages, challenging to taxonomically assign due to morphological ...

Effect and Mechanism of Nanobubbles Flotation for Fine Coal

open access: yesKuangchan zonghe liyong
This is is an article in the field of mineral processing engineering. In this study, the controllable factors such as the amount of collector used in the flotation, the amount of foaming agent, the ore feeding rate and the aeration amount were changed,we

Column froth flotation

open access: yes, 1986
The froth flotation device includes a flotation column partially filled with a packing which defines a large number of small flow passages extending in a circuitous pattern between the upper and lower portions of the column. A conditioned aqueous pulp of

Patterns of spinal motion, kinematic spaces and the land‐to‐sea transition in carnivorans

open access: yesThe Anatomical Record, EarlyView.
Using 3D reconstructions, we quantify intervertebral joint mobility to investigate how cervical, thoracic, and lumbar vertebral regions evolved distinct kinematic roles in pinnipeds. The findings reveal lineage‐specific adaptations for swimming and highlight the functional significance of vertebral joint flexibility in ecological transitions.

Postcranial anatomy and osteohistology of an early prozostrodont cynodont from the Upper Triassic of Brazil

open access: yesThe Anatomical Record, EarlyView.
Abstract Prozostrodon brasiliensis, a probainognathian cynodont of the clade Prozostrodontia, is recognized as a key taxon for understanding the origin of Mammaliaformes and mammals. Despite detailed investigations of its cranial anatomy, the postcranial skeleton has received comparatively less attention.

Column flotation froths

open access: yes, 1987
A fundamental study on the behaviour of flotation column froths is presented. Three main aspects were considered: hydrodynamic, cleaning (rejection of hydraulically entrained particles) and selectivity (separation between particles of different ...

Experimental research on anionic reverse flotation of hematite with a flotation column

open access: yes, 2009
An experimental research on magnetic concentrate of a hematite using the anionic reverse flotation technology in the flotation column was conducted. Through systematic studies in the lab, the optimal technological and operational conditions had been ...

A Mouse Model of Depression‐Tumor Multimorbidity Reveals the Mechanism of Tumor Growth Accelerated by Depression

open access: yesAnimal Research and One Health, EarlyView.
Depression accelerates tumor growth by dysregulation of tumor immune microenvironment. (A) Modeling methods: Subcutaneous tumor models were established under chronic unpredictable mild stress conditions, including cold swimming, physical restraint, and food/water deprivation, leading to increased tumor growth.
