In Situ Confinement of 0D Halometallates Within Deep Eutectic Solvents: From Systematic Screening to Metal‐Tunable Luminescence for Anti‐Counterfeiting Eutectogels

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We report photostable, photoluminescent deep eutectic solvents (DESs) powered by in situ‐formed zero‐dimensional (0D) halometallates. Stabilized by microenvironment‐controlling hydrogen bond acceptor (HBA) and donor (HBD) networks, these DESs exhibit vibrant, metal ion‐tunable emission (PLQY = 60.2%).

Activity Gel Analysis of Endopeptidases in Rose Petals

open access: yesHorticultural Plant Journal, 2016
Poor resolution for the identification of endopeptidase (EP) activity in activity gel assays is a critical issue in the analysis of the postharvest physiology of rose petals. In this paper, major factors influencing EP activity gel assays were evaluated.

One‐Step Preparation of Lanthanide‐Doped Polyurea Multicolor Microspheres for Versatile Fluorescent Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Lanthanide‐doped polyurea microspheres are prepared via a facile one‐step precipitation polymerization. They exhibit strong hydrogen‐bonding and coordination interactions with excellent properties, including multicolor emission, high quantum yield (75.3%), remarkable stability, redispersibility, and biocompatibility.

Senescence of Unfertilised Flowers in Epiphyllum Hybrids

open access: yesBiologia plantarum, 2004
Epiphyllum hybrids served as a model for the study of reserve remobilisation from unfertilised flowers to the mother stem tissues. Early phases of the tube senescence characterised by wilting were connected with degradation and transfer of reserve substances to the somatic organs of the mother plant.

Molecular and Cellular Hallmarks of Age‐Related Vestibular Hair Cell Degeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study utilizes single‐cell RNA‐seq transcriptomes, advanced imaging, and electrophysiology to examine universal and cell‐type‐specific aging signatures of vestibular hair cells. The study shows that impaired hair bundle function is a key driver of age‐related vestibular dysfunction.

Role of Ethylene on Flower Senescence of Torenia.

open access: yesEngei Gakkai zasshi, 1999
Flower senescence of Torenia fournieri was investigated in relation to ethylene production and sensitivity. Ethylene production of flowers increased with flower senescence ; pistil contributed to climacteric increase of ethylene production whereas other organs such as the petal, stamen, and calyx did not.

Multi‐tissue Metabolic GWAS and Drought‐Responsive Multi‐omics Reveal the Genetic Basis of the Quinoa Metabolome

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A multi‐omics framework combining multitissue genome‐wide association studies, metabolomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, and functional validation uncovers the genetic basis of specialized metabolism in quinoa. The study identifies hundreds of metabolite‐associated loci, prioritizes candidate genes for saponin, betalain, and flavonoid biosynthesis ...

The effect of Benzyladenin on reducing lipid peroxidation and carotenoids in Lilium oriental. cv belladonna [PDF]

open access: yesفیزیولوژی محیطی گیاهی, 2020
In order to evaluate the effect of pre-harvest spray with Benzyladenin (BA) on improving flower quality and delaying flower and leaf senescence in Lilium oriental, a study was carried out as a spilt plot factorial experiment where 5 levels of ...

SiDT1 Defines Plant Architecture Reminiscent of Green Revolution in Foxtail Millet

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
SiDT1 encodes a GA3‐oxidase that creates a semi‐dwarf, lodging‐resistant architecture reminiscent of the rice Green Revolution. The resulting ideotype performs well under dense planting and provides a valuable genetic resource for high‐yield, mechanized foxtail millet production. ABSTRACT Foxtail millet (Setaria italica) is a drought‐tolerant C4 cereal

Proteomic identification of differentially expressed proteins during alfalfa (Medicago sativa L.) flower development

open access: yesFrontiers in Plant Science, 2016
Flower development, pollination, and fertilization are important stages in the sexual reproduction process of plants; they are also critical steps in the control of seed formation and development. During alfalfa (Medicago sativa L.) seed production, some
