Can quantum regression theorem be reconciled with quantum fluctuation dissipation theorem ?
In the attempt to derive the regression theorem from the fluctuation dissipation theorem several authors claim the violation of the former theorem in the quantum case.

The study considers the use of polymer/dielectric‐based multilayers piezoelectric Energy Harvesters (EH) to produce an output voltage and current, by exploiting the mechanical energy provided by human organs movements. In particular, the heart motion is considered from the kinematic viewpoint, and a multiphysics theoretical model is developed to assess

Generalized Fluctuation-Dissipation Theorem for Non-equilibrium Spatially Extended Systems
The fluctuation-dissipation theorem (FDT) connecting the response of the system to external perturbations with the fluctuations at thermodynamic equilibrium is a central result in statistical physics. There has been effort devoted to extending the FDT in

Fluctuation relations for heat engines in time-periodic steady states
A fluctuation relation for heat engines (FRHE) has been derived recently. In the beginning, the system is in contact with the cooler bath. The system is then coupled to the hotter bath and external parameters are changed cyclically, eventually bringing ...

Isobaric–isothermal fluctuation theorem [PDF]
The fluctuation theorem (FT) gives an analytical expression for the probability that in a finite nonequilibrium system observed for a finite time, the Second Law of Thermodynamics is violated. Since FT deals with fluctuations, the precise form of the theorem is dependent on the particular statistical mechanical ensemble.

Probing Near‐Field EM Fluctuations in Superparamagnetic CoFeB With NV Quantum Dephasometry
We non‐invasively investigate the superparamagnetic spin dynamics of a 1.1 nm CoFeB layer by probing its near‐field EM fluctuations using NV centers‐based quantum dephasometry. Our findings are further supported by theoretical modeling and SQUID‐based magnetization characterization. These results provide critical insight into the magnetization dynamics

Continuum Mechanics Modeling of Flexible Spring Joints in Surgical Robots
A new mechanical model of a tendon‐actuated helical extension spring joint in surgical robots is built using Cosserat rod theory. The model can implicitly handle the unknown contacts between adjacent coils and numerically predict spring shapes from straight to significantly bent under actuation forces.
