Fluidic Thermistors or Fluidic Temperature Sensing With Capillaries

Journal of Engineering for Power, 1977
Described in this report is an analytical and experimental investigation of fluidic capillary temperature sensors and subsequent matching to a fluidic laminar gain block. Experimental sensor/gain-block sensitivities of 1.5 kPa/°C were obtained, which compared favorably with the analytical model.

A linear gradient sequential injection chromatography method exploiting programmable fluidics for the determination of three methylxanthines.

Talanta: The International Journal of Pure and Applied Analytical Chemistry, 2019
This work describes a novel sequential injection chromatography (SIC) method combined with linear gradient elution for the separation and determination of three main methylxanthines (theobromine, theophylline and caffeine) using a short C18 monolithic ...

Dynamic Switching Study on Fluidic Component of Fluidic Sprinkler

ASME-JSME-KSME 2011 Joint Fluids Engineering Conference: Volume 1, Symposia – Parts A, B, C, and D, 2011
The fluidic sprinkler controlled by clearance is a new type of water-saving and energy-conservation sprinkler. Different from traditional impact rotating sprinkler, a fluidic component is applied in the fluidic sprinkler, which serves not only as a discharge substance, but also as a driving mechanism instead of a complicated impact-drive mechanism. The

THE APPLICATIONS OF FLUIDICS IN CHINA

IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 1980
Abstract Fluidics can be successfully applied to finish measuring, actuating and simple logic control functions. Because the moving part logic has made great progress, the main trend of fluidic application is sensing and actuating. This paper reports 4 examples in detail to provide a general idea on the applications of fluidics in China:/1/A rubber ...

A review of acoustic compressors and pumps from fluidics perspective

Sensors and Actuators A: Physical, 2018
Fluidics has the advantage of using no-moving-parts to manage fluid motion. Acoustic compressor/pump has become the latest entry into the field of fluidics as a no-moving-part pumping technology.

Fluidic Inertial Platform

Journal of Spacecraft and Rockets, 1970
T article describes the development of a fluidic inertial platform feasibility model for line-of-sight inertial guidance (LOS-IG) of an air-to-surface missile.f In this guidance scheme, it is assumed that the pilot acquires the target before the missile is launched and that he aims the missile at a predicted intercept point, toward which it flies ...

Optofluidics: Fluidics Enabling Optics and Optics Enabling Fluidics

ASME 2008 First International Conference on Micro/Nanoscale Heat Transfer, Parts A and B, 2008
Optical devices which incorporate liquids as a fundamental part of the structure can be traced at least as far back as the 18th century where rotating pools of mercury were proposed as a simple technique to create smooth mirrors for use in reflecting telescopes.

Fluidics and Cutter Dynamics

2014
An understanding of the physics and engineering principles underlying vitrectomy fluidics and cutter function is essential as we seek to improve outcomes by reducing iatrogenic retinal breaks and facilitate removal of all traction. One of the many challenges facing the vitreoretinal community working in collaboration with engineers developing new ...
