By employing whole genome sequencing to analyse 351 Salmonella genomes isolated between 2016 and 2020, the characteristics and antimicrobial resistance properties of Salmonella enterica found in Bangkok canals were elucidated. Among studied isolates, 39.0% were potentially multidrug‐resistant, and STs 34 and 213 found might have circulated between ...

ABSTRACT Carbapenem‐resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa exacerbates the healing of chronic leg ulcer among patients. Further, production and dissemination of the carbapenemase genes are associated with P. aeruginosa high‐risk sequence types. Hence, understanding the population structure of these organisms is essential for healthcare personnel to establish

A series of 14 novel 1,4‐benzoxazinone derivatives is tested against various strains of Mycobacterium tuberculosis. All compounds show high activity against all tested strains, particularly the resistant strains. Additionally, the novel derivatives exhibit low cytotoxicity toward mammalian Vero cells.
