SENSORLESS FLUX REGION MODIFICATION OF DTC CONTROLLED IM FOR TORQUE RIPPLE REDUCTION
A Direct Torque Control (DTC) drive allows direct and independent control of flux linkage and electromagnetic torque by the selection of optimum inverter switching tables. There is no need for any complex transformation of current or voltage.

Single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assays for high‐throughput DNA–protein interaction studies
We describe an optimised single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assay that visualises DNA–protein interactions in real time. Linear DNA fragments are tethered to a surface and stretched by buffer flow for fluorescence imaging. Using λ and φX174 DNA, this protocol enhances reproducibility and accessibility, providing a versatile approach for studying diverse ...

MiR‐513a promotes human erythroid differentiation by modulating c‐Jun
During early human erythropoiesis, miR‐513a promoted erythroid differentiation in primary human CD34+ hematopoietic stem‐progenitor cells and human TF‐1 erythroleukemic cells by indirectly decreasing c‐Jun and phospho‐c‐Jun expression, which are associated with increased GATA1 expression.

Development of Flux Switching Permanent Magnet Machines
In this study, a flux switching permanent magnet machines (FSPM) based on the equivalent magnetic circuit analysis method was developed. FSPM exhibits a different machine in structure from the traditional permanent magnet synchronous machine (PMSM). PMSM

Derivation and characterization of retinal pigment epithelium from urine‐derived iPSCs
Age‐related macular degeneration causes vision loss via RPE dysfunction and loss. Traditional iPSC therapies rely on invasive biopsies, limiting scalability. Here, we utilize urine‐derived stem cells as an accessible source to generate u‐iPSCs, successfully differentiated into pigmented RPE. This “Urine‐to‐Retina” platform provides a promising path for

The new flux switching motor : a DC motor without brushes [PDF]
This thesis is principally concerned with the theoretical modelling, design, manufacture, performance testing, and development of a new type of low-cost electronically-commutated doubly-salient wound-field brushless DC-motor, named the flux-switching ...

Topologies of flux-switching machines for in-wheel traction
Flux-switching machines (FSMs) are a strong candidate for in-wheel traction of electric vehicles. However, the winding topology of this type of machines still needs to be investigated.
