Ng et al. show that the BCR::ABL1 kinase that drives the lymphoid leukemia Ph+B‐ALL modulates enhancer function by coopting signaling‐inducible transcription factors such as MYC, STAT5, and ETV5. BCR::ABL1 thereby promotes the transcriptional program driving and defining this leukemia and renders Ph+B‐ALL cells hypersensitive to enhancer‐inhibiting ...

Preliminary study of the homeostatic regulation of osseointegration by nanotube topology
The ideal implant surface plays a substantial role in maintaining bone homeostasis by simultaneously promoting osteoblast differentiation and limiting overactive osteoclast activity to a certain extent, which leads to satisfactory dynamic ...

4‐HBA upregulates NKIRAS2 levels, inhibiting the activation of the NF‐κB pathway and subsequently reducing the levels of neuroinflammatory markers. This modulation helps restore normal mood and behavior in hyperlipidemic conditions, providing a potential therapeutic strategy for managing hyperlipidemia‐associated depression.

The COOH terminus of the c-Abl tyrosine kinase contains distinct F- and G-actin binding domains with bundling activity [PDF]
The myristoylated form of c-Abl protein, as well as the P210bcr/abl protein, have been shown by indirect immunofluorescence to associate with F-actin stress fibers in fibroblasts. Analysis of deletion mutants of c-Abl stably expressed in fibroblasts maps

Delivery of Pleckstrin‐Homology Domains Suppresses PI3K/Akt Signaling and Breast Cancer Metastasis
Current therapies curb tumor growth but not metastasis. Obscurin, a giant metastasis suppressor lost in breast cancer, restrains PI3K/Akt signaling but is impractical to restore. We deploy a mini‐obscurin, comprising the obscurin‐PH‐domain, which sequesters PI3K‐p85, potently suppressing invasion and metastasis.

CSPG4 is identified as a high‐value, stemness‐associated target in HPV‐negative HNSCC. By implementing rational biophysical engineering, a humanized and charge‐optimized CAR is developed to overcome tonic signaling‐induced exhaustion. This strategy induces a profound transcriptomic shift toward a rejuvenated, stem‐like memory state, significantly ...

Cyclic strain promotes shuttling of PYK2/Hic-5 complex from focal contacts in osteoblast-like cells.
International audienceWe showed that cyclic strain (CS) of osteoblastic cells induced tyrosine phosphorylation of two homologous tyrosine kinases FAK and PYK2, and of two homologous adaptor proteins paxillin and Hic5, with similar kinetics ...
