Three Foliicolous Lichens New to the United States
The Bryologist, 1986Arthonia palmulacea, Calenia aspidotum, and Sporopodium phyllocharis are re- ported new to the United States, all in Florida. The presence of Lopadium fuscum in the United States is confirmed. Santesson (1952), in his monograph of the obli- gately foliicolous lichens of the world, recorded eleven species from the continental United States.

Folia Geobotanica et Phytotaxonomica, 1996Podotara gen. nov. (incertae sedis) is described. It is based on the foliicolous taxonP. pilophoriformis sp.nov., which is described and illustrated.
