Arginine Vasopressin in Human Follicular Fluid*

The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism, 1986
Arginine vasopressin (AVP) was determined in plasma and follicular fluid in 28 women in an in vitro fertilization program. In 23 women, follicular fluid was collected by laparoscopy during general anesthesia, and in 5 women, it was collected transvaginally with no such anesthesia.

[Follicular fluid in mammals].

Gynecologie, obstetrique & fertilite, 2010
Follicular fluid is a complex extracellular fluid, semi-viscous and yellow in colour, which accumulates in the antrum of ovarian follicles during their growing phase. Follicular fluid provides the microenvironment within which the cumulus-oocyte complex matures and granulosa cells differentiate.

Identification of Hypoxanthine in Bovine Follicular Fluid

Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, 1990
Bovine follicular fluid (bFF) blocks the occurrence of spontaneous germinal vesicle breakdown (GVBD) of isolated mouse oocytes. One of the active factors was purified by ultrafiltration through a PM-10 membrane filter, gel filtration through Sephadex G-25, and HPLC using a reversed-phase ODS-3 column and a Superose 12 column. This factor was identified

Proteome analysis of human follicular fluid

Biochimica et Biophysica Acta (BBA) - Proteins and Proteomics, 2006
We used proteomic approach to analyze the protein profile of human follicular fluid (HFF) obtained from 25 normo-ovulatory women undergoing assisted reproduction techniques due to a male infertility factor. In all HFF samples analyzed we found 695 common spots distributed in the 3 to 10 pH range and in the 10-200 kDa range. Only 625 of these spots were

Immunoreactive Endothelins in Human Follicular Fluid

Gynecologic and Obstetric Investigation, 2010
Endothelin levels were measured by means of [125I]endothelin-l,2,3 radioimmunoassay in the follicular fluids of 22 mature ovarian follicles of 11 patients, obtained during ovum pickup. In all but 1 of the follicles, endothelin levels were detectable and ranged between 0.2 and 3.6 pg/ml (mean 1.47 ± 0.99).

Initiation of Angiogenesis by Human Follicular Fluid

Science, 1984
Angiogenesis was observed and measured after injection of human follicular fluid into rabbit corneas. Undiluted human follicular fluid stimulated angiogenesis in every case, with new blood vessels visible 3 days after injection and extending 2.0 millimeters from the corneal scleral limbus into the injection site by day 15.

Initiation of angiogenesis by porcine follicular fluid

American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, 1985
Angiogenesis was observed and measured after injection of porcine follicular fluid into rabbit corneas. A qualitative response (0 to 6+) and quantitative measurement (mm/day) were obtained 9 days after injection. Undiluted porcine follicular fluid stimulated angiogenesis with new blood vessels visible by the third day after injection, extending 2.0 to ...

Lipoprotein patterns in follicular fluid.

Acta Europaea fertilitatis, 1986
Samples of follicular fluid have been obtained from 23 women in order to evaluate the concentration of the different classes of lipoproteins. In the Authors' preliminary experience the determination of these biochemical parameters could help the diagnosis of LUF syndrome.

Adrenal hormones in human follicular fluid

Acta Endocrinologica, 1992
Considerable evidence indicates that adrenal hormones may affect gonadal function. To assess the role of some adrenal hormones in human follicular fluid and their relationship with the ability of the oocyte to be fertilized and then to cleave in vitro, cortisol and dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate were measured in follicular fluid obtained at the time of

Immunosuppressive Factor in Cow Follicular Fluid

American Journal of Reproductive Immunology, 1991
ABSTRACT: The activity of the immunosuppressive fraction and proteinase inhibitor isolated from cow follicular fluid was investigated. The immunosuppressive factor was separated from the accompanying proteinase inhibitor by Sepharose 6B and Sephacryl S‐200 column chromatography. In vitro, the fraction significantly reduced mitogen‐induced lymphocyte ...
